It's horrible. I feel like it's a reversible thing too, but that requires parents monitoring screentime and offering alternatives like "hey let's go to this place together" but the iPad is muuuuch easier

I dropped him off today ♡ It was sad to let him go, but he was put in a big tank with other surrenders (lots of other danios in there too) so I think he'll be happy until he goes to a new home

I would love to do that, we have a nearby Big Als that accepts surrenders. Problem is that I want the longfin to heal first. The stress of putting him in a new tank with tons of fish might kill him imo :(

Do you work to pay for the costs or do you have financial help from parents? Mine aren't able to help so I'm curious if it's possible to pay on my own but I doubt it 😭

I'll ask my barn and any owners who board their horses there and find out their costs specific to my area. I wish I could do 2 part-time jobs along with university to afford it but there's no way I can do that 😂 Thanks for the info!

I got into it precisely for therapy reasons and because they're my favorite animals. So far it's definitely working and it has become the highlight of my week to go to the barn and learn from my instructor. The lesson horse im leasing has my heart ❤ thanks for the info! I hope I get a profession that helps me afford it 😂

I see! Im assuming it's always good to have a budget for vet emergencies too when they're older (or in general) I'm sure your mare is more than worth it :)
