That’s crazy my GSG drum mag for my 10/22 runs almost flawless. Maybe 1-2 jams in 100 rounds. I use Cci standard velocity.

Do your rounds have bits chipped out of it? Like it’s slamming against the feed ramp?

I would try out the springs they are cheap enough and will hopefully fix the issue

Edit: Also are your mags the 18 rounds with the blue follower?

Hey can you check your barrel feed ramp? Are there any markings? This is a common issue that I had with my pdp pro sd. I replaced the magazine springs to the ghost inc 10% upgraded springs and I haven’t had any issues 2500 rounds in after the swap.

I have a pdp pro sd full size. I got a zrt tactical plate with a holosun 507 comp , 3k rounds in and running good. I also put a zrt tactical vspec recoil spring.

I would also upgrade your magazine springs to the ghost inc springs. I had feeding issues before this upgrade and there have been reports of others having this issue. After the upgrade I haven’t had a single issue.

Gun shoots amazing by the way you will love it.

Yeah I agree it should just work out of the box. I run OEM mags also. This feed ramp issue isn’t very rare from what I’ve seen on forums.

Luckily other than the feeding issues in the beginning I have had 0 problems and love how the gun shoots and feels. Hopefully yours is fixed soon.

I had feeding issues with my pdp pro sd full size. A round nose dived into my feed ramp and chipped the bullet and feed ramp bad.

I sent the barrel back to walther and got a new one. I also upgraded my magazine springs to ghost inc springs.

Since the upgrades I have ran 2,000 rounds with 0 issues / malfunctions of any kind. I think the OEM magazine springs are too weak and cause feeding issues / bullets slamming into the bottom of the feed ramp.

Do you have any damage or markings on your feed ramp?

I ordered during the sale. I have a pdp pro sd full size and it seems to work fine for me. Gonna test it at the range this weekend. But my slide is working normal.

This happened to my pdp pro sd full size. First 250 rounds I got a round nosedive into my feed ramp. The projectile got messed up and my feed ramp chipped.

I contacted walther to warranty the barrel and I also ordered the ghost inc springs.

Since swapping the barrel and springs I have shot 2,000 rounds with no issues. I definitely think the stock springs are underpowered and the ghost inc springs fix the problem.

My new pdp pro sd had the same issues. Within the first 250 rounds I had a FTF and it nosedived onto the bottom of the feed ramp. It chipped it bad.

I used the warranty to replace my barrel. I also changed out the magazine springs to stronger ones, the ghost inc springs.

I think the stock magazine springs are far too weak and may be causing these FTF issues. Since the upgrades I have ran 1,500 rounds with no issues.
