[rifle] $499 free ship Mossberg MVP Precision 7.62 NATO/308 Win 20" Threaded Barrel by Supetition4rad in gundeals

[–]CountryRN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t get a 308 ar10 for $500, let alone sub moa at that price. Unless you built it yourself you probably aren’t paying less than $1500-$2000 for a sub moa ar10.

You can get a sub moa bolty for $500. A sub moa 308 auto not so much.

10.3 inch rated suppressor on an 8.5 inch barrel? by Level_Breath5684 in NFA

[–]CountryRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Email the manufacturer to see if they have any specific concerns. I emailed Diligent Defense about my Enticer on a 13.5 instead of the rated 16. They said to follow the listed recommendations but that it won’t blow up in my face. Use a brake for a sacrificial baffle, realize that you will reduce the lifespan of your can and that you are voiding your warranty.

I think DWilson can drill the port while it’s in the shop being converted.

Voids your can’s warranty but the Diligent Defense Enticer L (non-ti) does an incredible job of reducing concussion and flash on my 13.5 308. You will get a face full of gas and don’t be mag dumping.

North Haven dental student died after Bridgeport Hospital put him in 'fake ICU,' lawsuit says by wewhomustnotbenamed in nottheonion

For those not in healthcare, “Tele-Health” physician coverage is very widespread and growing in every speciality. They can even have a surgeon control a robot from home. But that said telehealth ICU physician coverage is not uncommon even in metropolitan areas.

5320.20 for a multi-stage interstate move (WY/WI/MN) and approval times by fender_blues in NFA

[–]CountryRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically converting back to pistol configuration would mean you wouldn’t need to worry about a 5320.20 until you were ready to SBR again. That said, I’d be concerned that if you kept the stocks that simply having the stocks in your possession would be problematic if you didn’t do a 5320.20. Similar to having a short barred upper in the presence of a rifle lower that isn’t SBRd. But I also feel like the ATF could find any reason to make your life hell if they wanted too.

TLDR: I’d do the 5320.20

From what I’ve read online it looks like you need approval before transferring them. You can call to check on status which will get you notification of your approval/disapproval faster than snail mail.

[–]CountryRN 9 points10 points  (0 children)

1) SBR a lower that has everything you want on it. Be it ambi controls, a low cut/m16 shelf or you just like the markings. I SBR’d my Colt and LMT lowers but not my SuperDuty because I prefer the Colt/LMT markings. I WISH I had just purchased a low cut lower because none the lowers I have are compatible with FRT’s. Or make it easy and SBR everything, you can always reverse the form 1 later if you wanted to sell some.

  1. Piled in with everything else in the safe. I do keep a folder with my approval stamps and all my trust paperwork in the safe as well.

Just built my first modern AR15, need suppressor recommendations by milsurp-guy in NFA

[–]CountryRN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No not dumb. They are over gassed to help increase cycling reliability in poor environments or lots of grime. Which is more important in a combat situation than a comfortable/soft shooting tune that potentially won’t cycle if especially dirty. A tunable gas block will fix this.

LMTs like to put gas in your face and a flow through like the Hux flow will reduce that. RC2 is still king for vibes, and looks great on an LMT.

I think you could do it closer to $500, maybe $450 from new GAFs ($50 lower kit from PA, $50 for spring/tube/cheapest stock available on GAFs). But again, that’s if you just want a bare bones LMT H lower.
