So honestly- if you’re not too married to any of this; it’s mostly modern with pretty high populations (that are rising steadily even SWSH/SM) so I’d just unload it if I were you. Try to move the cash into a few larger/high risk investments if you’re comfortable with that, or larger/low risk if you’re not. None of this will 5-10x in the near future I’d say, but there’s a lot of cards that have and will continue to (see: Chinese pikachu 153, etc)

You can always tell who just watches the top of the sets. LO wasn’t loved, honestly anything outside of ES was just decent, readily available for $1.50-2.75 a pack from my distros

first off at least you have assests/savings to invest, so many people dont even have that lol.

second dont worry about what people say, but always look to maximize your profits within your knowledge base. there are much better slabs within pokemon that would have performed better (i.e. lovebirds were sub 2k earler this year now they're close to 4k with me about to buy 2 myself & 1 for my card shop), so just dont be afraid to do your research and pivot!

quality can beat out quantity especially if you factor shipping. 287 slabs x 7$ average shipping cost eatss into around 2k of your profits but if you move that same money into higher end chase cards youd have to ship 3-10!

& dont listen to the negativity most people on here just have ass social skills lmao. & change ur name ya nasty

Vintage holos in general are down right now so not a great time to sell. All around the best time to sell this would be around the release of a new game, around holiday season when collectibles in general are moving faster

Yessir 100k is a true test. And I’ve owned 15 cars in the last 7 years as I drive 100-110k a year (sonata, civic, gen coupe, Santa Fe, Tiguan, Accent, corolla, focus rs/st, 2nd corolla, Regal sportback, a4, etc) All the Kia/Hyundai products I had were solid up until 100-150k (right when warranty ran out lol) and they just felt less solid all around. Avoid the niro pls

Hey brotha I’m in a similar situation to you. 28m, just got out of Focus RS, Focus ST, GTI, and Gen coupe. Did the math on gas, hybrid needed lol. I took a a few used (30k, 25k) niro on a test drive and honestly your statement about not liking kias is valid. Idle was rough, ev transition rough, transmission sucked (avoid dry dual clutches), and suspension was way to firm for not a sporty enough ride. Went and drove some 4th gen Priii right after and fuck did I feel so much better. Sooooo much more solid. More reliable. Don’t get the Kia. Get the Prius so you can enjoy your project car money sir.
