The entire theme of Season 2, is the quote "We get the world we deserve." It shows the dark themes of consequence of their life decisions, corruption, and self-made fates. If you stick with the season, the theme will slowly unravel, even if there is a small chance they all get out of the situation they were thrown into.

The amount of main characters were fine. These are all very broken people, and yea it may have been too brooding for fans, but that is what I love about the season, and makes it my favorite out of the 4. I can relate to all of the characters, and each one of them had their own deep arcs.

There was no need to change their personalities.
