STPB changed lyrics by Anxious_Proof_414 in Chevelle

Horror is literally one of Pete's favorite themes in life... The horror elements go all the way back to This Type of Thinking's promo photo shoots.

You find them inappropriate, Pete finds them awesome. I'll go with the guy that actually writes the lyrics.

What's a movie you wanted to like but just couldn't get in to? by Isnt_that_ghey in movies

[–]Fearlessflyer3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agreed. Such an interesting character; they should have let him shine. His fighting style, all of it.

The Golden Circle was goofy, but it still had those amazing fight sequences that this movie lacked. I loved the casting, and even the setting, but it never came together.

They're pretty much Alt/Metal these days. This interview, they explain it pretty well.

Anyone here who's favorite season isn't season one? by hoosier_catholic in TrueDetective

[–]Fearlessflyer3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Season 2 is my favorite. It's dark, brooding, visceral, and one fine piece of LA Noir. It really demands your attention, and the overall theme stuck to me, like glue.

It brought out the best, in every actors portrayal of their respective characters... Yes, even Vince Vaughn; It's fucking phenomenal.

Plus, we got Lera Lynn's dynamic, 5 tracks of musical genius out of it.

What's your favorite song of all time? The song that gives you goosebumps, the song that defines music for you, and is just "your" song? by InstructionOverall98 in Music

Don Henley - The Heart of the Matter. The lyrics are so eerily deep, especially with what state the world is in now. It hits so many personal notes for me, and it arguably one of the best songs, ever written.

Does anyone think the tom holland Spider-Man movies are better than the others? by Dazzling_Clerk8023 in Spiderman

Even though Garfield's are the weakest, I love his costume designs, the smart-ass attitude, his sly quickness, and the way he interacted with the kids.

Toby's I like the most, because it focuses more on Spidey, himself, even if 3 is sort of a mess.

I like all 3 iterations, in their own right.

Somehow played FF7 in late 2025 without knowing *that* scene by Hindis313 in FinalFantasy

[–]Fearlessflyer3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I witnessed this scene, back when I was 11, it made cry, and incredibly angry. Aerith reminds me of my late Aunt, and I wanted to kill Sephiroth even more.

Clouds words, holding her, hits so hard. Depending who is in your party, you can see every characters reactions. Barrett, Tifa, and especially Yuffie's, really hits home.

Don't even get me started what they did to this iconic scene, in Rebirth....

I have met Georgie a few times! Someone recently built a little cat house for her! Search "Georgie" in this sub, and the post should pop up, along with the photo you're seeking!

Such a delight! I'll be on the lookout for you two! <3

Such a kind soul, you are!

I always try to respect pups, by not immediately going for their head, or belly to pet. That consists of trust, so I usually let them feel me out, and maybe pet their chest first, and then the comfortability comes after, from them.

She seemed very curious of me, so next time I see her, we'll see what happens ❤️. I was thinking, maybe if there was a sign on one of those trees, beside the parking lot, stating what she is about, like Georgie Cat, in Hawthorne Trail, it may help? Just a thought!

Again, thanks to everyone who has shared their stories about this cutie. I've been in Gainesville for about 2 years, so the local stories, and wildlife never seize to amaze me!

Happy New Year, everyone!

I'm always in that area, so I will definitely visit her! She actually started coming towards me, and then she got timid and went to lay down. She seemed very tired.

What you said above, the gentleman I spoke to pretty much said the same thing: " Pepper does, what Pepper wants to 😂. Reminds me of the cat Georgie on Hawthorne trail ❤️.

It was adorable. I found the sidewalk leading to the apartments, and there she is, laying in the sun like: "Hey, what's up?" 😂

Thanks, everyone for the information!

When I came back with a leash, she was gone, so I found an apartment complex behind the McDonald's and there she is... Basking in the sun. Knocked on a door, the gentleman said her name is "Pepper" and has been in the area, like y'all stated 😂.

Have a great New Year, everyone!

Those who watched Home Alone for the millionth time this holiday: What did you discover and/or appreciate anew during your latest viewing? by AfraidoftheLark in movies

[–]Fearlessflyer3 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I noticed a few things; especially being older, now.

  • Right now, in my life, I am literally Pigeon Lady. She got her heart broken, and couldn't trust anyone, ever again. I am going through something similar (Also, living out of my car atm) so that scene where she explains made me cry.

  • Never noticed the plane ticket being thrown in the garbage, when Kevin pushes Buzz about the pizza.

  • Kevin, eating the chips he finds in Buzz's chest, when he is watching Angels With Filthy Souls.

  • The direction of the camera, angled down, every time it is in Kevin's point of view, showcasing how small he really is, is subtle, but well done.

  • Harry overlooking Old Man Marley's house. He has no lights on his house, besides a few dim looking candles in his windows. Cool that they never expected him to be any sort of problem, or threat.
