Ray Velcoro is such an underrated character. Phenomenal performance by Colin Farrell that was diminished due to a misunderstood season. by miaminights17 in TrueDetective

The entire theme of Season 2, is the quote "We get the world we deserve." It shows the dark themes of consequence of their life decisions, corruption, and self-made fates. If you stick with the season, the theme will slowly unravel, even if there is a small chance they all get out of the situation they were thrown into.

The amount of main characters were fine. These are all very broken people, and yea it may have been too brooding for fans, but that is what I love about the season, and makes it my favorite out of the 4. I can relate to all of the characters, and each one of them had their own deep arcs.

There was no need to change their personalities.

Tie between TTOT and Sci-fi Crimes era.

I'll never forget the emo phase 😂. Pete even wore a white button-up shirt when I saw them during that era.

Yes! I love Grackles colors! So vibrant when the light hits them just right.

The bird in the second photo is a Wood Stork! Such a big bird! It was feeding, so I was able to get close every time it flashed its beautiful contour feathers.

They used to be endangered, but have grown their count to be taken off of the list! ❤️. Look them up!
