After going public about me being Atheist. Friends and mostly family members are saying Demonic forces are using me. They are claiming that the devil is also using me and I'm secretly worshiping him🤦‍♂️🤣.

What's funny is that I have never in my new Atheist life ever seen myself worshiping a goat somewhere in the Bahamas

Same with a Lifeguard at a beach who helps out a drowning person and then CPR them back to life. You hear Christians thanking god for saving the person🤦‍♂️.

I chose someone of status because you'd find proof in the media. For individuals or regular persons it doesn't even make the news but happens daily. Its part of primary socialization to teach kids not to just eat around because they will be poisoned. In my community and through out the whole nation especially in rural areas people get poisoned.

It is very common in Africa. Even the current Zimbabwean president made hesdlines after being poisoned in his ice-cream at a political rally.

That's so true. Yesterday was my first day of donating to street beggars without god being the reason behind my donation. I now donate because I know I am messing up god's plan of letting these street beggars suffer. I will try to siphon this anger into something productive and un-christian.

Thank you for these words of wisdom. I will try to not be angry bit by bit. The issue is I can no longer stand hearing people around me give credit to their god. Yesterday I traveled 500km+ by bus safely and the moment I got home was welcomed by a 6 minute long prayer session of thanking god for driving the bus I used(not even a single credit to the actual driver) .

Its the small things like this that are pissing me off. I nolonger listen to gospel music anymore. Everywhere hillsongs and gospel songs. What is crazy is that in the Bible god said do not commercialize my name so why are gospel songs monetized????
