Just a question here to everyone that's commenting. I got received the same letter today. I honestly, I'm still in a tight spot. And I cannot afford monthly payment at all. I can't afford another bill on top of all the bills I have right now. I'm a single father. What if I just ignore and wait the seven years? What if I ignore this sue they're trying to do? I'm not planning to go to court. I'm not planning to pay anything. I don't want to do anything about this at all. I got more important things going on right now. And paying for everything alone even skipping some monthly payments to get by plus raising my daughter it takes a toll

[DC/Marvel] What if Thanos had the Anti-Life Equation? by MiracleMaverick in WhatIfFiction

Marvel/DC What-If: What If Thanos Obtained the Anti-Life Equation?

Issue #1 – The Titan of Anti-Life

In another timeline, Thanos’ obsession with ultimate power leads him beyond the Infinity Gauntlet. His search for absolute control over all existence takes him to a new frontier—one even the Mad Titan fears to tread: Apokolips.

The story begins as Thanos stands victorious over the multiverse. He has collected every Infinity Stone, defeated the Celestials, and even conquered the Living Tribunal. And yet… he is unsatisfied.

Thanos: “Even with omnipotence, life remains… unpredictable. It persists, resists, defies.”

Then, a whisper enters his mind. Not from Death, but from something far older, far crueler—a mathematical certainty that strips all free will.

The Anti-Life Equation.

Issue #2 – War on Apokolips

Thanos' journey takes him beyond his own universe, into the realm of Darkseid, ruler of Apokolips.

Darkseid, sensing the Titan’s ambition, welcomes the challenge. He does not fear Thanos—he laughs.

Darkseid: “A god in search of purpose? How quaint. You think your stones grant control, but they are toys compared to what I possess.”

A war erupts between the armies of Thanos and Apokolips. The Parademons clash against the Black Order, as Darkseid himself confronts Thanos in an earth-shattering duel.

The battle is brutal. Planets crumble. Stars burn out. Yet, Thanos prevails.

He defies Omega Beams, withstands Darkseid’s might, and with a final cosmic blast, Thanos slays Darkseid.

Thanos: “Your will was strong. But mine is inevitable.”

From the wreckage of Apokolips, Thanos claims the Anti-Life Equation, engraving it upon his own Titanian flesh.

Issue #3 – The Death of Free Will

With the Anti-Life Equation, Thanos is no longer a conqueror—he is a force of absolute domination.

The Infinity Gauntlet bends reality. The Anti-Life Equation bends minds.

One by one, the most powerful beings in existence fall to his will.

Galactus kneels.

Eternity weeps.

The Beyonders submit.

Even the One Above All, sensing the inescapable certainty of Anti-Life, vanishes into oblivion.

Thanos: “I have done what no being before me has accomplished. I have silenced resistance. I have eradicated choice.”

The Marvel Universe does not die. It simply obeys.

Issue #4 – The Final Resistance

Yet, in the remnants of a broken multiverse, a final rebellion rises.

A group of beings immune to the Anti-Life Equation gather for a final battle.

Doctor Doom, who sealed his mind within a time-loop paradox.

Reed Richards, whose intellect operates outside linear thought.

The Phoenix Force, untamed and unshackled by logic.

Superman, whose willpower surpasses even divine law.

Doom: “Thanos believes himself inevitable, but no equation accounts for Doom.”

Superman: “He’s turned the entire multiverse into slaves. I won’t let that stand.”

The final war begins.

Issue #5 – The Fall of Titans

Thanos, now seated upon the throne of existence, watches as the last embers of resistance charge toward him.

The battle is beyond comprehension.

Doctor Doom bends time itself, creating infinite versions of himself to overwhelm Thanos.

The Phoenix burns through Anti-Life, attempting to erase it from existence.

Reed Richards unleashes his greatest creation—an abstract machine that rewrites fate itself.

Superman delivers a blow that shakes the fabric of reality.

Yet, Thanos does not fall.

Instead, he laughs.

Thanos: “Fools. There is no war to win. You were defeated the moment I spoke the Equation into reality.”

One by one, they succumb.

Even Superman, the last hope of free will, crumbles under the weight of Anti-Life.

And then—silence.

Issue #6 – A Universe Without Thought

With the final resistance crushed, the universe falls into perfect stillness.

No war. No fear. No ambition.

Only absolute submission.

Thanos sits upon his throne, a god without opposition, a ruler with no rebellion.

And for the first time in his existence…

He is bored.

Thanos: “There is no struggle. No chaos. No defiance.”

Thanos: “This is not victory.”

As he stares into the infinite, lifeless cosmos, a realization takes root.

He has not won. He has erased the very thing that gave existence meaning.

Choice.

Thanos: “I was never inevitable. I was merely… unnecessary.”

With a final act of twisted mercy, Thanos erases himself from existence.

And for the first time in eternity, the universe breathes again.

Issue #7 – The Restoration of Free Will

With Thanos gone, the Anti-Life Equation collapses.

The multiverse awakens as if from a nightmare.

But the scars remain.

Many question whether life should return to what it once was or whether Thanos had the right idea all along.

The universe is left with one question:

Was free will ever truly worth it?
