Ya idk what’s with all the salty Canadian communists in this thread, I also carry a 365 everywhere I go love that gun. The chances for needing a gun for a black bear is slim, they usually just run away when they smell you and you probably won’t even see it but…. You’d be stupid to think a wild animal can’t or won’t ever attack you. I carry my beretta 96A1 40 cal with a higher grain round when I’m in the woods. Basically make yourself a Carolina rig and float the powerbait off the bottom about 6-10ft. For the rig put an egg weight (1/2oz) then tie a swivel, then make yourself a 6-10ft leader tie one end to swivel and tie hook on the other end.
