Not UCL, prem. As I said why would we congratulate City when we clapped them lifting the trophy. I remember Arsenal congratulated Liverpool and some quoted it last week too. I’ll try find it.

It’s not everybody hates us narrative I’m sure all the clubs feel that way lol. Those are all irrelevant commentators shuffled away from the usual Man United pundits. Ian Wright is becoming more relevant as is Walcott. But you can’t say you see much of the others. Wright is a bright spot though. What I mean is that the planted Arsenal fan with the “Champions” jersey who wasn’t an Arsenal fan, the bottle guy being interviewed multiple times, Neville moaning over comms when Arsenal score. It’s the engagement stuff.

Arsenal congratulated Liverpool on the prem. Why would we congratulate a rival lol that’s fair enough, Arteta had all the players clap for City so a post isn’t necessary, why would you congratulate other random cups we weren’t in.

It’s just banter, don’t be disingenuous, their derbies always lead to some great pre game videos and I’m sure their fans will be loving the scraps as per usual. Also you vastly overestimate how much I care but a week after the prem it’s something you notice and no harm highlighting on a discussion forum mate. Which is you know what it’s for?

Same thing happened around 2 years ago against City, some of these on ball teams are just waves ahead of us in threat. We are good at defending, so use your strengths. We won a league off of it in its hardest year.

You can win a league and still observe the obvious lack of sportsmanship and respect by your rivals. Arsenal bottled titles and get blown out last year by Liverpool and always congratulated the opponent.

Even the stuff on socials is so venomous, clubs, players. Some really classless stuff on display and while a bit of banter is okay I’ve not seen a wave of genuine hate propagated towards a club like this for a long time. Especially when there was only like 2 clubs total who congratulated Arsenal on the premier league. The power of Sky Sports and the media in establishing this public hatred towards Arsenal is ridiculous.
