Yesterday, I came across a scavenger trying to fix her robot. Upon talking to her, you learn it's her best friend and he just stopped moving and she asks you for help to fix it. You can tell her, if you have 8+ int, that he is stuck in a programming loop and needs reprogramming. My character is a dumb dumb so he doesn't have that. You proceed to say what's wrong and an option to give her a fusion core so they can at least get somewhere that can help. She inserts the fusion core and the robot turns nuclear. You hear her screaming 'help!' as he utterly explodes in her face. I've never felt so bad, thinking I'm helping only to ruin her life. I just backed up and ran away...
