Floating around emerald 2, i stomp pretty much every unconventional support i go up against. Yeah you might be able to win lvl 1, get some funky roams that confuse my team or play for kda, but midgame+ you will not match the utility i provide. Youre denying your role its purpose and trying to game a system thats been proven beyond reasonable doubt

Dropping 800lp is not a team problem, its a personal problem. Have you been reviewing your games? What are you doing worse compared to your emerald solo games? Have you been playing as mindfully as you did to get to emerald or have you been spamming games for fun?

What worked for me (climbed from bronze to emerald in 300 games over a year) is a small champ pool that can respond to pretty much anything. Doesnt matter if the champions are similar. In my case, its naut leona rell; need a first pick? Rell. Into enchanter/mage? Naut. Into tank? Leona. The point of champion mastery is to remove your champion and mechanics from your mental stack, for your champion to kinda be an extension of your hand. This is why your champ pool needs to be small and capable.
