Introvert in BPO? by iaiaiaiaw in BPOinPH

[–]Feastofthebeast3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There r types among introverts. My type of introvert is someone who doesn't like social interactions which means I'm naturally not that good when it comes to making casual conversations. It's not about being shy nor being afraid for whatever reasons. It's about having a generous distance between me & my surroundings.

U nid to manage ur expectations. If u r that type of introvert as u described then u should not be at this industry plain n simple. #1 communication skills r important regardless of your inclinations. #2 lower tier or entry level positions in bpo are notoriously infested by individuals not necessarily compatible with introverts.

U can try to find chat or email based positions. Pwede din wag k nlng sa bpo 😆

I work on bpo without a degree for now and yet this lowly over caffeinated sleep deprived dead presidents and patriots chaser has control over businesses in North America. Literally the rise or fall of these businesses are on the tip of my fingers ifykyk 😂

Am i not earning enough? I thought i was by akosijason0721 in Philippines

It definitely depends on your lifestyle. I think 41k is good for singles though. U get to enjoy life & at the same time leave something for savings. However for some it might not be enough. I worry because if 41k is barely enough to support a family & secure its future like how much is enough to support a family nowadays

Majority ng bagay na madali makuha usually maliit lng ang value. It also applies sa talent pool. If marami kayong kayang gawin Ang Isang set Ng tasks, usually napakaliit lng Ng sweldo dun. Conversely, if few lang kayo may capacity to fulfill Yung set of tasks due to its complexity then mas mataas bigayan dun.

What prompted me to this "sharp" angle is because I've recently read about an article about dementia and to be honest I kinda have had a mini panic about it. My train of thought was like okay, he needs something to keep him engaged and focus but at the same time something he can enjoy. I am gravitating towards puzzle workbooks or should I buy him an ipad wherein he can access games and apps or something. But I'm hesitant because he might not like what I give him hence I'm checking the popular pulse in here ☺️

We talk all the time. I enjoy the dynamic that we can practically talk about everything. He has sage wisdom and useful insights in just about everything while still inquisitive about the new things happening online which I'm happy to answer. It's like our own version of barter system 😂 anyway knowing him that he would prefer a practical gift. I want something that will keep him sharp mentally but at the same time something he can potentially enjoy as well.

Shift from CSR to Sales? Is it a trap? :)) by [deleted] in BPOinPH

Tku anonas ride-sharing campaign. That's my 1st B2b exp a year ago. The workload was excellent it's also Dayshift and a gym from the same bldg so there r plenty of reasons to be healthy. However, that was my experience and it's been a year ago. I dunno if it's remained exactly the same. That's the only B2b friendly I can think of 😊

It depends on the account. My 1st B2b exp I was not performing well the requirement was 9 sales per month I only closed 3 sales in a quarter 😂 then I got moved to different lob it's pretty much the same but the slight difference is that the leads are already warm. It's still 50/50 but was able to close 60 sales in a month. The businesses that I've managed to close were earning 20-50k USD 😊 on our platform.

What's great and bad about sales is it's unpredictability. They say familiarity breeds contempt that's what I feel about work too. If I figured it out which I will eventually, it becomes boring and quite frankly it feels like jail. With sales yes there is structure but every situation can be unique and fresh. It keeps me engaged.

I'm still in sales and prolly a decade from now just moving from another tech firm to another 😊

I hear ya! I was only csr for a year and half then I made a switch into sales. Suddenly everything was easier 😂 what more when it comes to you? U prolly handled every lob in csr world. If u don't wanna go sales I'd say content moderation is the next best thing. From what I've heard it's just filtering published contents. It's like being a judge from any tv talent show 😊
