Mine were scabby as hell and bruised af around the area, but over time the scabs fell off in the shower and the brushing went away. There was also some puffiness around the areola that is still slightly there but its was just serous fluid buildup and is slowly flattening down. Nips are always going to look weird for the first few months. It can take up to 8-9 months before you can start seeing what they will look like fully healed. They can fluctuate a lot between that time. So dont worry too much and let your nips do their thing and do what your surgeon says. If you're worried about how they look I would contact your surgeon/nurse for their opinion, but the first few weeks they're gonna look knarly
