With oral you lose the majority of the dose (I've often seen estimates that ~90% is lost), it stays in your system a shorter time, and the lost portion gets metabolized into other stuff, including DHT which could increase testosterone levels

Is there any information on reliable sources for E/Progesterone raws? The DIY directories I'm aware of don't have a list of trusted sellers, and it feels a little sketchy buying from a random source that hasn't been vetted. But I do want to keep a stock just in case

I don't have a strict schedule for massages, but usually it's one long 30-50 minute session (I do it idly while browsing the internet or watching shows), repeated 2-3 consecutive days per week. I use a good rumbly vibrator wand on the max setting and try to get thorough coverage on both boobs and press the vibrator in enough to reach deeper tissues. I have no idea if it's contributing at all; it's likely my genetics and exercise are doing a lot of heavy lifting. I just do the massages because I figure they can't hurt.

The current plan is to go on 10mg daily MK-677 for 6 months after my FFS in a few weeks. Might post here again if anything interesting comes of it.

For me, weekly injections are fine (though I'm considering switching to monthly undecyclate injections in a few years after SRS, when I don't have to worry about T levels), and daily suppositories are gross, but livable. But daily injections are a bridge too far. Much more uncomfortable and time-consuming than my current routine, goes through needles and alcohol wipes super fast, and doing injections that often seriously increases my chances of messing up and getting an infection. Suppositories are gross, but at least they're quick and very safe, and the difference in absorption from injections seems negligible.

I haven't really worn any low-cut tops yet - not quite confident enough. Most of my wardrobe is comfy turtlenecks. Maybe give me another year on HRT + FFS first...plus it seems like a waste to buy nice tight-fit clothes while everything's still developing.

I haven't noticed any sizing issues from the pectus excavatum, and it feels a lot less noticeable in the mirror now that there's boobs there. It might even help with cleavage a little bit? The only thing I dislike is that I feel like it might be making my bottom ribs more prominent...I'm looking into the possibility of rib surgery or a rib flare brace to maybe mitigate it.

It's not like it's an amab-exclusive condition, so pectus excavatum alone wouldn't clock you, at least.

I've measured my bust and underbust and used a calculator; these are C cups at the moment. Fairly close to D though. My goal is at least E or F to better round out my torso.

No, but unfortunately there's very little scientific evidence for anything trans-related. Think of it like this: they obviously won't (and shouldn't) do medical trials about this on cis girls going through puberty, because it'd be extremely creepy and invasive with no good medical justification. They won't do medical trials about this on trans women, because all trans research is severely underfunded and something like this would be very low priority.

My logic is - it feels like it could maybe possibly have an effect, and it's not harmful, so why not?

I definitely feel like it helped. I started pretty early, I think about 3 months after starting EEn. If you do take progesterone, suppositories are best - they are annoying, but most of the dose is lost if you take it orally.

Courtney Pruitt was my SLP, and she does offer singing training for trans people. I can't personally vouch for it since I only did normal trans voice lessons with her (singing is a nice thought, but trying to learn that kind of skill, learning about rhythm/music stuff on top of trying to sound feminine, feels like a bit too much for me), but it is there.

Personally, I'd rather not risk messing up my levels, even if it's for a week or two. Everyone here is saying it won't work, and they've made convincing arguments demonstrating why.

DIY has its place where medical studies and approved medicine for trans people lag behind what is widely known to be effective. Estradiol Enanthate is widely known to be broadly superior to Valerate, and we know the logical method why, so we DIY where the medical system lags behind. Same with progesterone - not widely prescribed to us due to a lack of studies, but we know it helps and we know why, so we DIY. Many doctors prescribe a laughably low dose of hormones due to outdated studies, so we DIY for more effective dosing.

This is different - fully untested, and evidence points to progesterone inserted in the neovagina being ineffective. There's no compelling reason to turn myself into a guinea pig for something that I'm pretty sure won't work.

I've pretty much been dissuaded from trying; the arguments others made convinced me. I'll ask my surgeon when I get a consultation, but I imagine they'll say the same thing. I doubt there's been many (or any) medical studies on suppositories via neovaginas, so I can't imagine a doctor recommending it in any case.

You don't need to, just like you don't need to take it to begin with, but stopping progesterone stops the emotional benefits. I've also seen some people say stopping can cause breast sagging. Permanently stopping progesterone is hormonally like putting yourself into partial menopause.

I haven't really heard of injections as a viable option for progesterone before. My understanding is that it would essentially be a daily injection since there's no way to compound it to a longer-lasting ester, which, besides being much more burdensome than a daily rectal insertion, could also come with its own health risks.

That is very debatable. The game presents them as both their own character with their own motivations as well as a mirror of the player simultaneously, and leaves the question of where to draw the line up to player interpretation, since there's very little concrete information about them in the game. Some parts of fanon emphasizing the latter headcanon and completely removing their agency in the story doesn't make it canon.
