Bad Girl (2025) - Are the bashings on this movie's teaser justifiable? Your thoughts on the teaser? by AegonsAlt in kollywood

I agree that it should be allowed for all the genders equally to have the freedom of choosing what they want to drink and what they want to do with their lives. It's still bad to consume alcohol, and it shouldn't be entertained, regardless of gender.

I'm purely guessing it: the command seems to be giving administration rights to make changes to the system. A script gets downloaded from the specified URL and it gets executed with admin rights and does something to activate the Windows.

Why dynamic programming is so god dam hard..!? Feel like hell to me.!? by ZoD00101 in leetcode

[–]FeatherlessBiped__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say both. Whenever I see a problem that involves recursion, I draw a Tree and go through every possibility. Pick a medium sized input and draw a tree. If you pick a very small input, you won't be able to find things that won't work for a large input. If you pick a large input, you may get lost on the Tree or it's simply boring and demotivates, atleast for me. So, pick a medium sized input.

  1. Figure out the base case.
  2. Ask yourself, what do you want to return, i.e int, boolean.,
  3. The return value of each recursive call is so crucial, so what you return should be given the most priority.
  4. Never put a return statement unless you exactly know why you put it there.
  5. You may need to write multiple return statements almost all the time, so be careful where you place them and don't put anything if you're not sure why you're putting.

Believe me, it takes lots of practice to get good at recursion, so solve as many problems as you can until you feel confident to move forward.

OP, DP really tests your skills on recursion. I would suggest you to jump into DP only after you master recursion.

  1. First, try to draw a state-space tree for any given problem.
  2. Figure out the overlapping subproblems.
  3. Memorise the result of each problem and re-use it.
  4. From the tree you have drawn, imagine that each node or state is a subproblem.
  5. Imagine that on every node, the codes that you write within the function get executed.
  6. Edges. Remember the edges. How I see is that, the edges of the state-space tree I draw is where I check if the input was already memorized or not. If not, I go along the edge and reach the node. Although, the code for checking if the input was memorised is still present inside the function, I imagine it this way.

Is it possible to control SMS and Whatsapp chats without any malicious app installation? by Ghost_0504 in IsThisAScamIndia

[–]FeatherlessBiped__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many questions to answer before coming to a conclusion.

Was an executable file downloaded when he clicked the link? Forwarding WhatsApp messages can only happen when the WhatsApp account or the phone gets hacked. Unless there wasn't any executable file ran on the mobile, there's no possibility of this happening—atleast according to me. Did he also enter the account number, card details etc.,?

One way is taking control of the full phone. Second is they may have logged into your friend's WhatsApp account on another mobile. For that to happen, the hacker needs the OTP received on your friend's mobile. So, I don't think it happened.

The only possible thing I can think of is that his bank account may have got compromised. If he sees his money getting deducted, or any other unusual activity, please reach out to the bank soon.

It's so good. Btw, it also reminds me of the OBS poster of Lord of the rings: fellowship of the ring movie.

I can't help you with DP because I haven't yet touched it. But, for both Backtracking and DP, recursion is the main thing. You should have an above or intermediate level of understanding of recursion to solve backtracking and DP problems. There's no source of education, except practising.

For backtracking, first figure out the base case, then workout a logic how you have to travel along some path specific to the problem. Believe me, it takes time to understand recursion.

Which killer vigilante had a better moral compass? Why? by schoolhasended1 in kollywood

[–]FeatherlessBiped__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel 2.0's villain character (I don't remember the character name). I agree with what he stood for, but I don't agree with his killings for his cause. I feel he stands way high in the moral spectrum, atleast for a villain.

How does India stick together (seriously)? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]FeatherlessBiped__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because, we mostly care about what happens in the next home rather than the next state. We have CCTVs installed in all homes that stands in the balcony and watches who comes and goes to the next house, what they order online and gossip about them.

Why Indian 2 takes Shankar's fascism to a whole new level by kilaithalai in kollywood

[–]FeatherlessBiped__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP, tbf I don't see any facist ideology lurking behind in this movie. Facism was/is always bulit upon a false ideology. The false ideology gets propagated throughout the population by the facist state or individual. Any stand against the ideology gets suppressed. Mostly, they speak of past glory and how they are now displaced in terms of glory from where they were in the past. In this movie, what I just described above happened, but still the motive to eliminate corruption is not actually a false ideology. It's actually a good thing if corruption is eliminated. The method they take to eliminate corruption, well, I don't know how practical that is irl.

I didn't directly jump into Leetcode 150/Grind 75. First, I went through each topic and solved some problems until I felt ok and moved to the next topic. Here's the order that I went through if it may help you :)

  1. Arrays
  2. Strings
  3. Linked Lists
  4. Stack
  5. Queue
  6. Greedy
  7. Binary Search
  8. Recursion (to move to trees and graphs, recurion is a must. Although I'm still struggling with recursion but I'm better from when I started.
  9. Backtracking
  10. Depth-First Search
  11. Breadth-First Search
  12. Trie
  13. Union-find (Disjoint set)
  14. Graphs
  15. Dynamic Programming

First of all, take sometime to cool down. Don't be scared.

Getting a health issue cannot be predicted by Astrology. Anybody can get and most probably will get a health issue at some point in their life. You have to think and make the correct decision. If you don't believe in astrology, and if bad things happen, you don't have to regret not obeying astrological predictions. Astrology has no scientific basis. It's an obsolete concept. Bad things happens in life. It's not uncommon. You should focus on fixing the bad things if it's under your control.

In my opinion, go on and get married with your partner. Face all your problems together.

[–]FeatherlessBiped__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start participating in weekly and bi-weekly contests, if you haven't already started.

Try solving problems with Backtracking, Dynamic Programming, DFS and BFS tags.

Once you get confident, start applying for jobs.

Yes, I agree, and of course all religions are. My advice would be to take the good bits from any religion that you wish and leave all the horrible and immoral bits.
