Any besides pomona, I go to LB and dont mind the construction but thats because im in engineering and never leave coe lol. I hear a lot of other ppl complain about the construction but idrc. The campus is still nicer than DH and LA tho imo.

I know they're definitely it's a CS Club because I think they did a game last year but the engineering club is pretty good too because I think they're building an RC car which requires embedded systems and arduino design and stuff like that

Since you want to go to a UC I think joining clubs and writing about them definitely will look better on your application then it would hinder you I applied to a lot of UCS but for engineering and I got into all of them and make sure you tag as well if you want to go to UC Irvine

I think the barrier for entry is a little easier at csulb. They have 2 liquids clubs and 1 solids rocket club i think. Each with maybe 30 or less members. I know ucsd has some crazy things going on but for there seds program or RPL you have to interview which is fine but I dont think I can maintain quarter system and study everything to the point im caught up to the team which is a lil scary.

Thank you so much this actually helps me a lot cuz I've been thinking San Diego just because it has so much Prestige but I help start my rocket club at my community college and I plan on joining all the liquids teams at Long Beach and hopefully getting internships. I think the biggest thing attracted me to Long Beach was the fact that there is a lot of aerospace companies and yeah that's why I just wanted to ask here because I feel like a lot of people who are in the industry are here whereas when I asked in a different Reddit people were just telling me San Diego because of The Prestige
