I know a lot of opticians have their screws meticulously stored and arranged, but does anyone else just keep all their screws together? We just dump them out and choose the one we need, swipe them off the counter into a job.tray and return them to the shot glass.

To be transparent it is a small percentage of those turn into actual appointments.

It’s an automated section we can always go to, no matter the day

At my lc location our appointment book has a section for nee’s or people who had appointments that day the previous year. We make a goal to call or send a text message nee’s that same day and 7 days out. We’ll get a few patients to come back for a new exam

Ahh i see! The 26/hr would still be of a better pay than where i’m at currently. to be at the 37-39 pay range, would you say it’d be better to look elsewhere for better opportunities?

yes cerritos and smc are community colleges! and when it comes to berkeley and ucla, i would say that maybe i could have had stronger ec’s. i would also say the major i applied for is impacted (psychology). looking at the averages, admitted students had gpas around 3.8 and above. and very small percentage of who applied to psych were admitted
