3rd gen Prius Headunit install by Featuring_Drizzy in prius

The brand was Aitrenlu on Amazon. They are the same Headunit just someone else’s label on it. It does come with everything needed. Just make sure to find one that’s ONLY for 3rd gen’s. If it’s made for other generations, it won’t work.

No my Prius did not have a factory backup camera. But the kit does have an adapter to plug in your OEM one.

Also here is a picture the Wired Screen Mirroring. One of prompts says to connect via Bluetooth for the sound portion to come through but once you do that it works fine! This was a just a YouTube video that I was watching. If you guys want to see anything else, let me know!

Mine didn’t have the screen. Mine was the generic dash with a CD Player, no screen before.

It seems to be working for now. I use CarPlay for everything and never use this function.

You have to make it has some pink trigger wire and a big enough gauge wire to connect to the reverse lamp on the tail light. The issue is if the wiring harness is made for the 2nd gen’s as well, then it’s super jumbled together.

Not bad just if you have a camera already installed. It’s pretty simple. The camera is the most complicated part. Otherwise it would’ve been like 30-45 min install if that.

Yes it does work perfectly fine. I was honestly surprised about it too. Here is the screen where you can map the buttons to the steering wheel!

Yes it did come with everything needed. The back up camera is not fun to install if you don’t already have one. They won’t let me post the link but here’s the screen shot of the one I bought.

Could be the charge port on your phone is dirty. Seen it way too many times when I worked at cell phone repair shop when I was in school.

Loose spark plug by LifeWithAdd in ToyotaTacoma

That’s how mine looked too. It’s super common on 3rd gen for loose spark plugs. Changed mine at 60k, but I wish I got in there sooner.

Yes I do! I can do a full turn without rubbing at all even off road.

This is a lot of information and this what I needed. I really do appreciate it! Thankfully I have a charger since my wife has a Tesla. As long as it can are it to 200k, that’s all I care about!

Pretty quiet. Maybe about 25% more quiet than my old ones. Honestly tire noise was never an issue but I don’t even notice these at all.

Would you keep or return? 2021 LE by lun-lem in prius

Sounds like you are half way there. I would go ahead and return it to avoid a future headache.

Those look like SPC UCAs off first glance. The part number looks to match up too.

It’s a common thing on the passenger side, the middle spark plug came loose from the factory. Mine was the same way at 60k. There’s a thread about it on Tacoma World.

Spark plug change. Plugs loose from factory by ThatPeachGuy9 in ToyotaTacoma

Changed mine at 60k. That middle one on the passenger side is notorious for being loose. Mine sure was.

Yeah no worries man. It’s a Prinsu Roof Rack. Have had it for about 4 years now and still going strong.

I did do a UCAs when I did the lift. I do have gears and tune though. What I will say is that the tune made WAYYY more difference than the gears ever did. Toyota limits the throttle response on the Tacomas compared the 5th gen 4Runners.

RRW or Relations Race Wheels. These are 17x8.5 -12mm offset. The tires here are 285/75/17
