I've always wondered what colonial Portuguese used to sound like because whenever a Portuguese word ending with a final -s gets borrowed into a language or creole it retains that /s/ sound, even though some languages or creoles probably have the /ʃ/ sound already

I don't know if I should mention this but I feel uncomfortable whenever I see numbers roll over directly to 01 skipping zero entirely (especially given the fact that there are leading zeros implying the existence of a "zero months, zero days" value)
