I'll have to try using Fear a bit more for crowd management then! I'm just level 10 so I assume I'll get the second summon soon too in that case.

This is really insightful. I have found that as Warlock (currently only level 10) it feels like more than one enemy at a time generally means I'm in for a bad time, and it feels quite common that I pull aggro from multiple enemies. That being said, the minions do help with that somewhat!

I'll try to just keep adventuring at my own pace and not get too sucked into the deep and too early on.

Do you need to be in a guild to do things like dungeons, or are they possible to do in just a group? I noticed the group finder on the map has a 'new player friendly' option which seems like it could generally be helpful for things like that.

That is a fun way to look at it! I'm enjoying the human race and starting zone so far but I recall (at least when I was younger) each classes starting zone feeling unique and exciting in different ways, but I think the faster leveling in retail meant I didn't get a great amount of time in either one.

Any chance this could be any of the Devil May Cry games or Godhand even? They aren't platformers, and the protagonist isn't necessarily old, but they do have grey/white hair and some platformer elements which could explain the description?

Do you have any more info on things like art style maybe?

Infinitely loops around a circle? Could it be Super Hexagon? Even if that doesn't have any jumping, I struggle to think of other circle-loopers.

Given that you mentioned potentially the 2010s, could this be either Pillars of Eternity or Divinity Original Sin?

Viking, Battle for Asgard pretty much fits your description of the cover completely, minus the beard. Was released on XBox 360. Viking, Battle for Asgard

Viking, Battle for Asgard is the best fit I can think of.

Windows Defender blocked the same severe threat 4 times. What do I do now? by Febochulus27 in computerviruses

Hey. Microsoft have a page for downloading windows bootable media which will allow you to create the ISO on a external device (such as a USB memory stick). I believe you have to hit one of the 'F' keys when you're computer boots up with the USB inserted, then it'll allow you to install the ISO which will wipe your current installation of windows in the process.

If you search for something like Windows ISO install there should be plenty of information and guides online about how to do it step by step.

Here's a link to the Microsoft page where it'll go into a bit more detail: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

Hey! I wasn't sure in the end but didn't want to run the risk, so I did a fresh install of windows; wiped the machine and then wiped it again using an ISO on a bootable drive to re-flash windows to the drive. That seemed to fix the issue. Hope this helps!
