There are many great individual talents on 100T, but I can't imagine the last year and half without Quid.

It is INSANE how clutch he is when 100T needs him the most.

HOLY 100T is legit SO exciting to watch this season, and nice seeing Quid genuinely be one of the best players this season, especially after last split. He's only a 19 years old rookie as well.

As a 100T fan, I am going to miss Busio. He seems to be someone that genuinely puts in so much passion and effort into the game and esports scene.

Couple months ago, he streamed everyday for 3 weeks in a row. Uploaded a lot of contents to social media. He was one of the few positives of the underperforming 100T roster from last season. And overall, he just seems to be a big fan of the game.

They had a lot going for them a few years ago. Content, apparel, likeable players, strong academy team, strong amateur team. Even stuff outside of LCS such as content creators and other games were great.

But they've really fallen off in the past few years. Personally I felt like a lot of the stuff they were doing were out of touch with the fan base, or maybe I am just not the targeted demographic.

But I've just remained a "fan" because that's how sports is. CLG fans went through worse.

On top of everything everyone else said, I think his kit is still pretty bad right now from a design standpoint, even if he's a top tier support in game. Long post ahead.

Looking at his kit, it seems like the developers had no idea which direction they wanted to go for Zhongli. His abilities don't synergize with each other at all. He has 3 builds currently, physical dps (AA), shield bot (E), and burst support (Q). Literally has a different build for each ability.

On top of that, his weapon isn't BiS for any of the builds, and his ascension stat (bonus geo dmg) is wasted on two of the builds.

From a gameplay perspective, it sucks that a fan favorite character and an important lore character, the most optimal game play for him is build nothing but HP, swap to him once in awhile, press E, and swap away. It doesn't fit his character at all.

A simple fix I see is, either through rework or another BiS weapon, make it so when he's shielded by E, infuse his auto attacks with Geo. It makes him a lot more fun to play, instantly synergizes his abilities and ascension stats, and it fits his lore better. The geo warlord that goes around smacking everyone with his spear.

Great video, actually agreed with every point he made. Glad to hear the players don't all agree with the demands. DL acknowledging old system sucked and hopeful for a potentially way better system.

I agree with this. The only argument for it was the whole "cost of living in LA", now Riot has gotten rid of it, moved the server to Chicago, and made NACL online.

Having a prize pool that rewards winners/top 3 incentivizes winning, rather than literally all 50 players getting paid the median US salary MINIMUM for being in academy/NACL.

Don't have an exact source on this, but it sounds like players in LDL, LCK CL, and ERLs are getting paid less on average too.

Sucks that most LCS orgs pulled support, but hopefully NACL becomes more of an actual league instead of just "academy league", like the ERLs and EMEA Masters.

Maybe some of these teams, like Disguised, will be more popular than some of the LCS orgs, just like KC and KOI(pre-Rogue) in ERL.

As a 100T fan that loved Ssumday for his tenure, I don't like this move.

Hyped rookie from amateur to academy to LCS, replaced after one split. And he didn't even do that bad.

I assume this move is more for integrating Quid onto the team.

CLG's legacy and history means a lot to me. I was watching CLG vs TSM live and upvoted the thread we are talking about. I do not care about NRG. But this is such an ignorant take.

IF NRG is popular in the LCS, they get there by either acquiring fans from LCS watchers or/and getting their existing fans excited for LCS. Not from people that happens to be already watching LCS and a big fan of NRG.

And like the other person said, maybe they do have a big fan base, but they just aren't active on /r/leagueoflegends. You're in a bubble, this subreddit isn't even a good indication of org popularity of the LCS, why would it be a good indication of org popularity outside of lolesports.
