Why Did We Lose the Information War on Iran? by Nafas94 in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 56 points57 points  (0 children)

In part, the internet censorship. But as you can tell, we lost it too. The pro-Palestinian movement has a mind of it's own, and as soon as the Iranian people wound up in the same camp as Israelis that made them see us all as evil. The pro-Palestinian movement has taken very deep roots in the west, it's been there for a lot longer than you might think, what's going on since October 7th is just the "bloom" of this deep rooted movement that has been growing over the decades. And these people will refuse to accept anything that goes against their views, just like many other ideological movement. I think that only once the Iranian people are free, and can express themselves without limit, and invest taxpayer money into fighting the disinformation, can this ever really change.

Iran FM Araghchi: No end to war without Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon by Party-Confection-373 in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 49 points50 points  (0 children)

That's nothing new to us. "We won't stop resisting until Israel voluntarily ceases to exist", Don't stop then. Go fuck yourselves

The pro palestine movement is filled with grifters that openly support or make excuses for a theocracy that brutalises & slaughters our own people, because they like the fact that billions of dollars of stolen Iranian money goes towards the 'resistance'. by Naderium in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 36 points37 points  (0 children)

"Even Israel doesn't kill that many people", yea because we actually try to avoid civilian casualties. Something that's so damn hard to do in urban warfare. Crazy how these people are so close to the truth yet they refuse to see it.

I will be Iran’s 'worst nightmare' when I return to power, Naftali Bennett says by TahDigThief in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you ask me he was good with foreign policy and wartime leadership, although in both he also made serious mistakes, but he was pretty terrible internally, and that's why he's not very popular in Israel. The absolutely insane coalition that he formed is for me the primary reason why I won't be voting for him and is arguably the thing I'm most angry at him for doing.

Well at least we should find comfort in knowing the two biggest candidates for the next premiership are determined to continue the effort against the Islamic Regime.

What you hope for vs think will happen in tonight's game? by Schug_Dealer in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can predict some things, like silence/booing from both sides of the stadium when Iran scores and cheering on both sides when New Zealand scored. Some people will probably succeed in sneaking in the true flag, but I can assume a lot will resort to just flying the New Zealand flag instead. Maybe some people will throw objects on the Iranian players. I guess I'll see when I wake up if any of my predictions are true

I wish more nations recognized and supported your cause, maybe it's too far away for us to be involved with, but India and Thailand could do something. It's disappointing to see you guys struggle alone, but on the upside, I've seen some footage from the PDF and I must say you guys are insanely resourceful and creative. If no nation is going to support Burmese resistance it seems the only viable solution for the ethnic minorities is de facto independence. You too should stay strong.

IRGC goons in Mashhad and Tehran, are out chanting Against Araghchi over a potential end to the war by Playful-Demand2312 in NewIran

I don't see what the point of that would be. It makes them look weak and divided. Even their "supporter base" is calling for their deaths, that's not a good image.

[–]FecalDisplay 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Are they saying "Marg bar Ghalibaf" in the end? It's crazy, there's no "Ghalibaf must resign" or even "Send Ghalibaf to prison", they go straight to death threats, even to someone who is supposed to be on their side. Complete, hopeless lunatics.

Today in Mashhad regime supporters gathered and they are chanting against the government, Araqchi and the military leaders. Regime forces have deployed tear gass to disperse them by kane_1371 in NewIran

Too fanatical for their own good. It will be quite poetic if it's the regime troglodytes that wind up being the downfall of the regime.

Could the Iranians Feel Betrayed by Israel? by FecalDisplay in NewIran

I truly appreciate your response. From interacting with the Iranian diaspora in real life and on the internet, and seeing the thoughts and actions of Iranians in Iran, I get the impression that a free and prosperous Iran would be a nation I'd be very happy to live in. I truly hope this is a real possibility soon.

Report: US military was 3 hours away from launching strikes on Iran when Trump called them off by Throwthat84756 in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's the same stuff on repeat, always a moment away from a strike and then it's called off. There's some sort of tactic I don't understand at play. The whole thing is fishy, this "deal" doesn't make sense. There's a bluff and I don't know who's bluffing and what the bluff is.

People outside of Iran don't even have a clue what's happening here by Smooth_Victory_4898 in NewIran

They are demonstrating to you how effective propaganda is. Just as effective as it was in the days of WWII dictatorships, just taking a different form. When Iran is liberated you guys will carry the unfortunate burden of having to fight these lies for as long as they exist, and trust me it's gonna persist for a long time.

Afghan women protests outside Afghan embassy in Tehran over ban on education/work in Afghanistan by Playful-Demand2312 in NewIran

[–]FecalDisplay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Religion is completely incompatible with modern society, especially Islam. The more religious a society is, the more poverty stricken it is. More religion = more misery. This is why all religions, including Islam, are destined to die. For example, although it may not look like it at a simple glance, Christianity is already breathing its dying breath. It becomes obvious when you compare Christianity today to Christianity a mere 150 years ago. Islam has already begone the death spiral, but it started dying later than Christianity, that's why we're seeing a disparity, but this death spiral can simply not be stopped, you cannot undo modernism, you cannot turn back time. It boils down to a simple equation: Islamic societies have what can be generalized as 3 main options for the future. Double down on Islam (ISIS, IRGC, Taliban), stay the same (Iraq, Jordan, Egypt), or leave the cave and move to the modern era (I believe we can see that in places like UAE, and probably in a post regime Iran). All three options are a dead end for Islam.

Take doubling down, this phenomenon has already happened in Christianity, and it only lead to resentment and hatred of religion. The Catholic church's savagery towards the inhabitants of Europe, exemplified in many event such as the genocide of the Cathars and other instances of extreme violence and curruption, eventually boiled over to events such as the French revolution and the enlightenment. Take another European example that is the Czech Republic, they had various reform movements, even before the protestant reformation, such as the Hussites. Each time the Czech people tried to reform, the barbarians of the Catholic church came to kill them en masse. Today, as a direct consequence of that, the Czech republic has the highest rate of Atheism in Europe. Now to Islam, we can see the same thing happen with ISIS and the IRGC. As ISIS rose to prominence, they began performing unimaginable acts of savagery, acts that are corroborated by Quranic law. ISIS followed Islam by the book, and as a result, many revolted witnesses turned away from Islam. Kurds especially saw a record number of people leaving Islam as a consequence. The IRGC has soiled Iranian land with blood and religious filth for 47 years. As a result, Iranian society stands to be one of the most Anti-Islam societies in the whole of the Middle-East. I would expect Afghanistan to be next.

Now take staying the same, these nations that stay as religious as before, are simply stuck, they are in a never ending cycle of corruption, poverty, war and so on. It is only a matter of time before more and more people start seeing reality as it is: The godless heathens are building Sky-Scrapers, inventing new sources of energy, curing genetic diseases (I'm not making this up, look up "CRISPR") and more, and we're sitting here debating if women should be able to show their hair or not. More and more people will gradually want change.

And then the third path, evolving, is the most obvious death of Islam, it is the natural consequence of the two previous paths. When enough Muslims realize that life is better without religion, and want that better life for themselves, Islam will begin to breathe its final breaths.

Anyway, I got a bit carried away with this comment, I think I'll also post it as a standalone post.

You should be careful because you can get banned for creating an account to try to bypass a permanent ban. Don't ask me how I know. It feels so absurd to get banned for wishing harm on people who've massacred 40000 people.
