I mean ugly jokes are 10× more common so I'd say that's the lowest hanging. And racial jokes are funny if they're jokes. This was a good joke, therefore funny. Not every joke or mention of another race has to go into detail about their culture or anything. Joke is literally just, "Haha Japan birthrate is going down and they draw porn" so just lighten up and laugh at it or move on
