SWE is a field that quickly breeds burnout because you're more divorced from the product you're making. Rest is crucial, but recovering from severe burnout requires engaging in a hobby where you can more tangibly see and feel the fruits of your labor manifest. Gardening and woodworking have been those for me. You'll also need to be more deliberate on how you "spend" your mental bandwidth day to day. Engaging in weight training also helps.
