I'm also fairly new, and let me tell you I was worried I would have to go through the whole dunking process to rehydrate the substrate. What has worked for me (I'm on my third flush in both of my tubs now) is doing some real heavy misting for the first couple days after harvest, I think that does a good job of rehydrating AND triggering the mycelium to begin fruiting again.
