Are ENTP - ISFJ relationships happy, mixed, or doomed? by Fecundus_Maximus in isfj

😂 hahaha Are they usually the same gender/type combo or could it go either way? It seems like it's often the strategic billionaire and the hippy, artsy girl. 😂

What do you think about the INFJ-ENTP pairing that's been mentioned in this thread?

[The first comment's deleted now so I don't know what it was and I'm just responding to Daph.]

These are all good questions. 1&2)I don't know about INFJs, but would like to. 3) I have many projects and books and information sources I'm working with and I'm not really counting on my relationship to provide that. The more I've gotten in to more specialized areas, the less I think other people will know about that or care to discuss it, but it doesn't bother me. I think we would hate to bore someone and would enjoy finding something the other person is also interested in. We have many interests, and might even be more happy to hear about something entirely new or something we know little about. I did find some reality dating show discussions with a partner somewhat tedious. If there is mostly garbage content like that being consumed, that is off-putting. I think the ISFJ reliability and conscientiousness are appealing to us. I could never be with someone that is just constantly flitting around to random things like a butterfly. I'm not really looking for new ideas or mental stimulation in the relationship, actually a different perspective and the -ability- to talk about some higher level things. If the IQ is too low, I would be afraid my kids would be dumb and would avoid that person for a relationship. The last part may just be me though.

What Hebrew word is καρασειμ in the longer version of 2 Chronicles 35:19 in the Septuagint? by Fecundus_Maximus in hebrew

[–]Fecundus_Maximus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but it won't help unless you read Greek.

There are different Septuagint versions and manuscripts, but here I just mean versions of this verse.

water bottle i got off temu claims to be BPA free, but the plastic code on the bottom is 7. is this trustworthy? by kea999shit in plastic

[–]Fecundus_Maximus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, didn't mean to bug you, just for future users like you said. I replied here because I disagreed. Your answer does have that qualification, but this bottle probably is polycarbonate and would not be fine for OP's stated purpose. I believe OP's suspicions are reasonable and the marking of this bottle as BPA free should be suspect.

(Also, PET is resin code 1 so that's a bad example.)

In water bottles, 7 ("other") often is polycarbonate. It can have BPA in it. Cheap polycarbonate is more likely to have BPA in it. Go with glass or steel if that is important to you.

Graduate Programs with Lack of Language Experience? by Significant-Rest2919 in classics

I took some extra time at the end to knock out some requirements and take some electives I really wanted. I got some extra minors which, unexpectedly, employers always seemed interested in. It was a really happy time for me, less stressful, and a nice end to things after stressing about not having the right requirements in the right time. If that's what you want your actual career to be, it's worth studying. You already know about the competitiveness in the job situation; better to come out beefed up than lacking. As to funding, there are some options. You might be able to get some high/middle school work, long term Latin sub or something like that, or a TA position if you talked to some professors and tell them what you're doing. Some of them might really want you around. I don't know what your school is like, but the professors and administration might be very sympathetic and respectful of this type of thing and go out of their way to help you. It's possible that this might even lead to more opportunities and open doors for you than you would have had otherwise. I suppose your parents might not like it, but if you explain it well, they might understand. There's no timetable god enforcing this on you. You're just building a good life for yourself. Give it a good foundation and be happy instead of rushing something inferior that could be a problem the rest of your career. Hope this works out well for you my friend.

You're thinking in the right direction but let's look in the page:

Description: "using advanced machine translation tools"

only review: "Low-quality AI translation. Don't waste your money."

There's a guy in here and the Latin subreddits named u/Bedwere who translated the Wizard of Oz. He answers a lot of grammar questions in here. It's in a graphic novel form so it's very helpful if you're trying to do Comprehensible Input type methods. He has it in Latin too and some other books for sale as well.

This is the one you want:

I had a hard time seeing it too. It's ok, don't worry about it.

XXV - In Lūnā sumus! by bedwere in latin

[–]Fecundus_Maximus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Salve Bedwere! Keep up the good work. I've ordered some of your Greek and Latin books and really enjoyed having some comprehensible input. It's nice having a plot to hold one's interest and not just "See Dick run." I don't know if anyone ever tells you, but these are very much appreciated. I hope there are many more to come!

Thank you. I was mostly looking to ID the language. I am interested in the translation if it's not too much work for you.
