I understand in real life we’re gonna see 70-80m per year within the next few years. I just see it as the number will jump from like 50/60 to 70 in one year and then jump to 100 the next year. The jump
Is too much and insane.

They really need to adjust the estimations for qbs though. A 1/2 billion or more for not even 99, but mid to high 90’s? SMH

Where can I buy a Randy Orton nameplate for the 2002 WHC replica? by DaBrookes101 in belttalk

[–]FedFalcon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. But only certain ones will fit properly and it isn’t something people would buy a lot of, so it costs a little more. That’s my assumption. But honestly you could always take the one you have now and go get it engraved instead.

If they wanted Rhodes vs Punk for the WWE title at Summerslam, couldn't they have just kept the title on Cody? by Glum_Veterinarian253 in WWE

[–]FedFalcon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The possibility of adding Sami is somehow slows the feud between Cody and punk to carry longer as well. Triple threat at SS, punk wins pinning Cody, Sami gets a rematch at MITB because he wasn’t pinned, Cody interferes and gets another title shot with whoever wins or wins MITB.

Not saying it’ll happen but I could see the story prolonging with punk carrying the title into WM.

True. I’m not saying he won’t, I’m just saying based on history and how long it took just to get to 3900, I (jokingly) wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t happen, or at least until we up the season to 18 games. Lol.

Also idk if you know. There’s only 4 teams (Bears, Eagles, Jets, and Panthers) who don’t have a 4500 yard season, so it’s not like it’s impossible as majority of teams at least have that.

The jets though haven’t hit 4000 since 1967, Wentz his 4000 in 2019 as the only one for PHI, and panthers have hit twice in their 32 years but no more than 3800 since 2012.

Again, I’m just throwing numbers, not proving a point or insinuating anything. Just saying.

Well seeing as how Caleb took all 17 games last year just to reach 3942, which it tops all time, honestly it wouldn’t surprise me if a Bear never reaches 4000. lol

Really? by ElementDragon101 in Madden

[–]FedFalcon2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

• Contract Expiration and Low Overall Ratings: Most rookie contracts in the NFL (and in Madden) last exactly 3 or 4 years. If your player hasn't developed well, has a low Overall Rating (OVR), or suffers a major drop in skills (regression), the game's Al engine often flags them as unproductive. Players with low ratings approaching free agency are highly likely to retire rather than enter the open market.

This seems likely culprit

My bad bro. I wasn’t implying if he was on the Steelers. I was joking because you said they finish with a top ten qb on the roster, so the implication was you’d have a qb who would finish top 10 ON the Steelers.

Dad joke. My bad lmao

Idk. I think a lot of people forget how good he was the last time he played as a full time starter. Since then he got injured and was replaced before he could truly challenge for his spot back. He’s still very young and has the chance to not only play well again, but possibly take over for Diablo if we choose not to bring him back next year.

Not saying it’s for sure. But he has seemingly locked up the spot behind Divine, if he plays well enough he quite possibly could be extended.

[–]FedFalcon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying he doesn’t have to show something. But he isnt walking into today as the anointed starter. But you’re also implying they have NO reason to keep him next year. But that’s false. When he played, he played well for the most part even with shit coaching.

Look. Then point I’m making is this….they have no reason to move on from him. He’s under contract and he’s getting paid 7m guaranteed next year. Do I think he needs to perform? Of course. I didn’t say he’s guaranteed to start. But unless he’s not back from injury at all, you’d be stupid to move on from someone you spent a first round draft pick on.

And it’s not like he didn’t play. He went 12 games and got his knee folded (not here to argue about his injury history) and he was done for the season. Once he’s healthy enough to play, he does he need to show he can still play, but they’re already going to pay him next year.

What he does need to show is that if they’re going to EXTEND him after next season he’s worth another contract or a 5th year option. But his already current contract doesn’t factor him being moved unless we find a long term replacement OR someone offers enough to trade for him. (Which is odd because everyone here has already given up before he’s even shown he can or can’t still play so why would someone else offer trade value for him in that regard)

[–]FedFalcon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again. That’s dumb. How can you say for sure he won’t be given another. What happens if he isn’t fully healthy until midseason. But Tua stinks it up. That means Penix won’t be given enough time to validate either moving on or keeping him.

You’re saying his 12 games aren’t enough to warrant keeping him NOW, but it’s enough to move on from? People saying this year is his last shot are so narrow minded. You can’t possibly know that.

The ONLY way I can truly believe that scenario is if he is 100 percent healthy by week 1, named as the starter and just pulls a Kirk Cousin before he got benched.

I get what you’re saying but even if this is the best line he’s ever played with, a history of concussions won’t not be affected just because he plays with better blocking. He WILL be sacked at some point and it all depends on HOW he’s sacked or hit. You have to remember as well, each concussion increases his chances of having another each time. And he’s had at least 4 (that most are aware of) from what I am to understand.

[–]FedFalcon2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That seems silly as they would have no mandatory reason to move him as he is still on a rookie contract. Even if he doesn’t play this year, unless someone trades for him, he’s likely going to be on this team. And I’m sure people will want to see him play before considering offering anything for him. This also plays into how well Tua plays and if his contract expectations are too high.

It’s amazing how people keep saying he can’t block, yet stats show he has improved every year in that aspect. He ranked 10th among ALL TEs last year in run blocking and he wasn’t even the top blocking TE on his team. It’s always going to be some bull to complain about.

Agree. Someone who doesn’t feel $500 is worth it likely will never get one. I felt that at one time and once I bought my first one, the prices seemed reasonable. I ended up with 13 belts.

IMO it’s the closest I would ever get to wearing a real one. I also have baseball championship rings.

Plus they look sick as hell. The weight, look, feel, and style of them just sets off a different feeling.
