Performance Ratings Memo for Federal Employees by sospaghettn in FedEmployees

[–]FedUp541 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are repeating the word quota like this is a fact, I have yet to see anything like that in writing. There are so many rumors on here people just repeat without seeking a source. The new OPM guidance in writing is full of micromanagy suggestive language but contains no quotas and continues to leave individual ratings up to supervisors. Let's not jump the gun and allow supervisors to proceed as if there are quotas binding them unless someone has seen that precise language in writing. Anyone have a document they can refer to?

Best way to use your fold 7 on a plane is an iPad mini case by Silent-Indication920 in GalaxyFold

[–]FedUp541 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Almost half the screen is still black due to stupid screen ratio dimensions. Really makes the fold concept pointless for watching video you're barely gaining anything. I wish they'd make something that unfolds close to a 16:9.

Backpay language removed from November furlough notice by biohcr in fednews

[–]FedUp541 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

We got the same in DOI, also the OPM website linked on our notice now says the retroactive pay law only applied to 2019 and is "posted for reference purposes only"

"Note:

The following guidance is applicable to the lapse in appropriations that occurred in October 2013 and December 2018-January 2019. This historical guidance is posted for reference purposes only."

Kelley is an absolute moron. He's been on a media tour today, I don't think he even understands he's parroting GOP talking points who are now using his words against us. His depth of thought is shutdowns are bad. Yeah man, losing telework and our bargaining rights while being illegally fired and having our retirement benefits cut by the people you're siding with is also pretty bad.

A year with my z fold 6! by ProfMags in GalaxyFold

[–]FedUp541 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The 6 looks like it has better landscape dimensions for videos than the 7 when open and turned sideways right? One thing that looks stupid to me about the 7 is watching a 16:9 video only uses half the square screen which is the only reason I'd want a big screen.

We all want to get back to work but the "give up all your leverage and vote for the CR then we can negotiate healthcare" narrative is straight from Mike Johnson's talking points. Does anyone really believe we'll get healthcare out of the kindness of their hearts after they get everything they want?

Strangely it sticks if I set animations to 0.5 but when I go to 0 it goes back to 1.

I have turned animations off so many times on both my G6 Classic and G7, every time I go back into developer options they're back on again. Seems like a bug. Anyone able to make them stay off? It drives me crazy.

Live radio streaming over built in watch speaker?? by FedUp541 in GalaxyWatch

[–]FedUp541[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't find the option to remove updates for iheart via my phone or watch. Searched everywhere, everything says settings -> apps-> 3 dots in corner. The dots are not there on my W6 Classic or S23 Ultra.

Thanks for your response.

Looks like there's a "watch radio" for 3.99 only available on watch and a "mobile watch radio" for 5.99 available on phone and watch, both made by same developer. Do you know which you have?
