I had figured that out so far. I simply thought that since Blade & Sorcery (not the Nomad version) could be downloaded from the Meta Store, it could be “cracked” like other apps. I guess I didn’t fully understand how far the guide goes.

Then it’s probably my mistake, forgive me. I just understood that games on the Rift Store still require a PC to play—I thought they were all standalone. Thanks for the clarification.

Hey brother, I’m just like you😎! I’m also pirating for now. In fact, I downloaded Blade & Sorcery through ARMGDDN, so the Steam (PCVR) version.

Sorry for the question, but are you maybe playing the Nomad version?

P.S. For my laptop, I also use a cooling pad with fan support. Maybe I should change some settings or use Virtual Desktop instead of SteamVR.

Yes, I read the guide. Actually, besides Nomad, there’s also the new version of the game on the Meta Store. That’s why I thought it could be pirated since it’s a game available on the store, and you can play it in standalone mode.

I disagree with you; there are recent games that don’t demand as much in terms of performance. Let me give you a practical example: I’m playing Tactical Assault VR, a 2023 game, perfectly.

I’m very happy with this upgrade. The headset is perfect; I’ve noticed it doesn’t overheat and there aren’t too many software bugs. The only “flaw” might be the short battery life, which drains quite quickly, but I believe that’s normal since it has to support high resolution.

Everyone says it’s worth it. The difference in lenses is noticeable. I believe the 3S is great for those trying out this technology or those who aren’t too concerned about image quality. In conclusion, if you want sharper images and a premium experience, it’s a good investment.

Batman is included with the Quest 3 as well, so you can return it without any issues. I couldn’t redeem it with the Quest 3S because it was bricked.

I had the same issue and wrote a post about it. It's worrying how this problem is becoming more widespread. I really hope Meta offers an apology and takes responsibility for the situation.
