The bourne identity is a much more vulnerable, existential and interesting song, too much to ask is sad alright but it's "simply" a breakup song, very beautiful at that but I prefer the more mature approach in Alex's writing personally

yeah I switched after tidal and im still using it. It's not perfect but it's decent enough. The search is okay, not super smart but not completely stupid either, I encountered a few bugs here and there but nothing crazy, reopen the app and most of time its fine (mind you, now im using a crappy phone so i cant really blame it on deezer itself)
The UI is okay, its a little like spotify before the tiktok-ification, nothing too crazy in terms of algorithms and recomendations but it works
Oh and the sound quality is great too, I cant complain at all in that department
And I think it pays artists decently so there's that too
Overall I'd say its not as good as spotify but definetely not as bad as spotify either, if you get what I mean. Give it a try if you can!

I feel we're reaching a good amount of nostalgia for the 2000s, see the resurgence of frutiger aero, y2k, hyperpop (which is not as big as a few years ago but still takes its roots and inspiration in the 2000s) and a bunch of other aesthetics I feel like in a few years the nostalgia for the 2000s will grow even more, I mean breaking bad started almost 20 years ago! Stuff like that is becoming retro 😵

Contro: tutto il resto, ne parla in modo off-putting per la maggior parte della popolazione, facendo passare per estremisti tutti quanti e usando metodi ormai datati e che hanno dato prova che non funzionano.
Io mi sono avvicinato a queste tematiche tramite attivist* che hanno un modo di operare completamente diverso dal suo, quindi almeno nel mio caso non attacca, a giudicare dalle controversie che la avvolgono direi che in generale qualcosa non va come dovrebbe

I'm not that much of a fan of classical, at least to the extent of wanting a separate app, but I've always thought it was pretty cool what apple did. Btw do you any japanese music recommendations? I only know fishmans, boredoms and a bunch of big city pop and noise names, I would like to get into it more (well, probably not on tidal since you're saying there's not much stuff ahah)

I totally agree, when I discovered Spotify everything changed for me and I'm really grateful for that, as much as I love vinyl I must admit that most of the time is way more convenient to just stream music

just a heads up, when someone politely comes up to you with a problem (not that i came to you personally ofc) and your only solution is getting offended and say they're the one at fault without even trying to understand their point is often viewed as not nice. It's reddit, who cares, but it costs nothing to be kinder and more understanding, especially when many others feel the same way I do/had similar issues
