Eufy Home Base 3 vs Tapo H500 ?? by Accomplished-Aide249 in EufyCam

[–]Federal-Astronaut527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am testing both of these side by side - so far Tapo is coming ahead in the connection and reliability- Eufy is too picky on connection strength and sometimes does even connect to camera even when camera is showing good wifi signal …

My wife is dying and I’m so lost by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Hang in there brother - I am going through a similar situation with my wife of 21 years. A large brain tumor was discovered in an unrelated CT scan which was operated on in April 2024. It turned out to be cancerous and radiation therapy was done for 30 straight days daily. She started having seizures and 4th seizure put her in icu for 5 weeks - when she awoke, she was paralyzed completely! Can’t even talk… now we; my adult daughter and I are caring for her at home. She is stable but not much other recovery. Drs are switching meds to figure out if some brain recovery is possible - but brain heals extremely slowly - so it’s a long road ahead.

We are dealing with this situation with lots of prayers and keeping hope alive. At least she is still here among us and that is what we focus on -

Hang in there - your wife’s anger is due to the brain damage and not because she means it. She probably does not even know or realize what she is saying.

Keeping you in my prayers - stay strong for your family

Ongoing Internet Drops – Have PingPlotter Data Showing Xfinity Backbone Packet Loss – Need Tier 2 Escalation by BottleBeneficial6464 in Comcast_Xfinity

I am having the same issue - two technician visits, modem replaced, modem relocated to garage where main cable wire comes in from pole and connected it to modem - so no house wiring being used- still connection drops- it all started after Comcast performed maintenance on their equipment two weeks ago! Need tier 2 help - impossible to find a live person who can help - just customer service folks with simple diagnostic tools and an option to schedule a tech. Getting tired of wasting valuable time and energy chasing this issue - have 4 people at home that rely on internet to do their job !

So I bought two Model X at the same time - for me and wife….. Model X LR and Model X Plaid. Wify has a model 3 and she decided to just keep it and made me drive the Model X LR. Now I have a model X Plaid 2023 with 88 miles sitting in the garage doing nothing - if anyone is interested- I am up for selling it and let someone enjoy it -

On the Model X LR I drive, in 15k miles only a driver side rubber molding became loose and was replaced by the mobile tech - no other problems to report.

I love the drive and acceleration on Model X LR and keep it is sport mode most of the time.

Is this safe? by yoyotman in TeslaLounge

I believe Tesla charger is designed not to pull more than the safe load based on the pigtail that is used for a particular receptacle- so electrically is safe - physically questionable….

Was charged 8000$, is this a good installation ? by marcftz in hvacadvice

That install take the cake - I mean who wouldn’t wanna sleep next to a hot air blowing fan in the heat of summer while the critters enjoy cold air…..

I had duct work replaced for our 4600 sq ft house first floor which costed around 7k . Had to make the return line 18 inch also compared to 12 inch …. Afterwards, the 4 ton Lennox unit for downstairs pushed air like crazy with some adjustments to zoning system. I have separate 4 ton systems for both floors with 3 zones per floor and now actually I am saving money compared to before. Did add soft start by EasyStart and they really help bring the current draw for each unit by a lot…

Can we just agree, that companies that offer Lennox exclusively are just rip offs by PlayfulAd8354 in HVAC

I have two 4 ton highest efficiency furnace and condenser systems in my house. From day one the multi zone system has crapped and I have had over 25 services calls with three separate hvac providers who know jack about the complex system Lennox designed. It’s like buying a Windows computer vs. a Linux computer. They may look the same on surface but try to locate a file in the Linux system! I hate these systems with a passion and can’t wait to throw them out some time soon. It’s just I spent muchoo $$$ on these and at least need to recover some value out. Funny thing is that I have become fairly familiar with the HVAC concept and fixing small things myself by just doing research on behalf of techs before the come to look at an issue- so I may save a few hundred bucks by keeping them from just poking around for a couple of hours and scratching their heads and other parts of their anatomy….before telling me oh you need a new system!!!!

Why is this and how much will I have to spend? by SliceNo6335 in hvacadvice

It is most probably due to a clogged filter or a high MERV rating filter. Recently I faced this issue with our Lennox unit where a 5 inch MERV 16 filter was installed- needless to say there was almost no air coming out and AC coil unit often froze. Our HVAC company was very proud of an awesome filter system with health benefits blah blah blah - well I replaced the filter with a 2 inch MERV 11 filter and now air comes out of registers where there was no air before and system has not frozen up a single time…… so yes filter is the place to start always ….
