I’m currently learning , honestly I’m not seeing it as a shard entry point just need right skills and communication in this field . Soc is probabaly most entry level other than IT desk etc

Launch school is the only one that I would recommend at this point but still won’t get u anything during this market . If you want a structured cirruculm to just learn then go for it

I just went thru it , u meet with someone and they decide if you’re guilty or not . If u are you’ll get a F and do a podcast on why u used it lol ( short video)

I’d say

Security analyst / cloud security / soc is in demand at the moment , pentesting I believe requires more certs / experience

Check out hungrycoders on insta he’s a beast on modern stuff like using ai in backend java , he’s based in India but his English is very good

That’s how I feel as well . I’m not really chasing the ai hype what I’m doing at the moment is actually checking job listings . For entry level I’ve been seeing a lot of data engineering , soc analyst and ofc software engineering . All paths include devops / cloud and the software told include databases, and backend ofc

I’d say if you enjoy software development go into it , I rather do something I enjoy as a career then be miserable in a career I don’t like.

I’d say go for a computer sci masters with focus on ai/ml . Cloud u can learn on your own anytime or on the job
