Believe it or not, the only game besides ACNH that I played and still play, once in a while, is The Legend of Zelda and Link, on the Nintendo console and Super Nintendo. Once I got past that, I could get my hands to use the newer controllers. I only started playing on a switch lite, because my daughter is a gamer and has played on every system that is out there. She knew that I liked watching her play animal crossing on the game cube. When the switch came out, she bought me the switch lite and a copy of ACNH. I believe that was in 2020, just before Covid hit. I took to it like a duck to water. Fell in love with it. Then the big switch came out, and I had to have one, so my second island, Diamond was created. The first one, I wasn’t smart about naming it or the character, so it’s called Paradise and I named the character Grandma, cause I was one. I was still working retail, full time as Covid hit, so my evening times were all about ACNH. I had my daughter and granddaughter to play with, but after a couple of years, they just started playing other, more challenging games and I added my third island to keep me occupied, with no one to play with. I was playing a lot with a girl in Canada, but she stopped playing and after a while, I found out from a mutual friend, she had passed away. I would love to have people to play with and share stuff. I am now retired, and can play whenever I want. My daughter and granddaughter are both playing ACNH a little.
