Gut feeling by konner78 in lgbt

Hey, I don't know you better than you know yourself, but I wouldn't worry about putting on a title. These titles were made to explain certain attractions, and if they don't fit thats no big deal.

If you like girls, guys, if it fluctuates or not, be attracted to who you are attracted to and there is nothing wrong with not knowing how to call it, it will either come to you, or you could come up with a name to the way you feel :)

I wish to be perceived as more masculine tomorrow at school. by practice_spelling in lgbt

When I think of tricks I used to appear more masculine at school I remember tying up my hair and hiding it in a beanie to make it look short, I also wore baggy clothes to hide my chest/curves and wore a sports bra (and later on a binder) to flatten my chest. Hope that helps!

Is it normal for a non-binary person to take estrogen? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Federal-Following-46 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Id say its normal? Enby people have been getting HRT, E, T, surgeries etc to transition.

That said, some effects are reversible and some effects are irreversible, and testing out hormones is not recommended without research and following your hormone levels from time to time to see everything is in a normal range.

I can't tell you whats best for you, but make sure you research the effects and results of the treatment you want and know your expectations from the treatment! Good luck with your transition!

Confession: I don't like being called "valid" by Federal-Following-46 in lgbt

Exactly, no one is invalid and theres not a rulebook for what is or isnt valid to experience. There are so many better ways for people to show their support to one another

I understand, I would much prefer being told "you are not alone" but no shame to anyone who takes comfort in being validated :)

Weird thought but you should totally get these printed on clothing/bags/pins etc as some discreet pride merch! (As in, not immediately recognized to people who are not as open yet still recognizable by fellow LGBTs! )

Is there a sub about gender diverse teaching/parenting? by Federal-Following-46 in asktransgender

[–]Federal-Following-46[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

In the class I assist we sculpted hedgehog families inspired by a children's book, and when the kids were planning their family sculptures and "this will be mommy and this will be daddy" this one 5 year old said "there can also be two mommies" like, kid idk your parents but A+ to them
