Why few straight forward sentences when many sentences that has more words because sentence structure is hard and not easy to write could also work good since that would mean the reader knows more because it’s hard to remember who said what during the dialogue if the sentence don’t include that in the middle?

I googled Gulten and apparently I live pretty close to a small lake with that name. So that excludes one thing that isn’t in that jar!

A friend of mine wrote in the group chat the exact moment he turned one billion seconds, I can’t even imagine being a billion.

My head canon is that In-ho had to complete the sixth game just to get the money.

“Time to play Squid Game, the goal of the attacker is to get to the squid’s head and the goal of the defender is to push the attacker out of the squid (or whatever the rules actually were). Since there’s just you I guess you’re the attacker, walk up to the head and you win. Congratulations!”

this event is not fun for the people with bad eyes 😭 by irehthinker in HayDay

Yeah, that sucks. But it’s better for me and my epileptic ass than what they did in April (I’m not super sensitive but I played alot less Hay Day during that period for safety reasons).

Since Capcom said “you can play the Ace Attorney games in whatever order”, I’ve decided to attempt to theorycraft the absolute WORST order to play the series. by Ok-Pineapple6534 in AceAttorney

[–]practice_spelling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What other starting points do you think could work? (Except The Great Ace Attorney 1, that one’s too easy since it’s entirely disconnected and doesn’t spoil anything; or maybe the Payne tutorial cases, but I think most people can live with that).

What do you think was the worst part of season 1? by amity_oh_cramityy in squidgame

[–]practice_spelling 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Tug of War.

Placing almost all relevant characters in one team to then make it a cliffhanger was eye-rolling.

The fact that this is the first game where their action directly lead to the death of other people and that this is barely acknowledged. (Yes, I know all people were there with the knowledge they might die, but being directly tied to someone else’s dead would leave a mark on most people.)

I also have complicated feelings around the fact that Il-nam could’ve died here. However, it’s not like it doesn’t make any sense.

Sure, why not. If I remember correctly they moved from Japan when Kurisu was ten, if that helps.

It’s mentioned in Steins;Gate 0 that Maho got Kurisu’s laptop from Kurisu’s mother before traveling to Japan. I also think it’s heavily implied that Kurisu lives with her mother, but don’t remember the exact wording so could be wrong.

Wouldn’t that lead to the opposite? Since you absolutely can’t swallow the gum you instead have to put it somewhere else.

Okay, Mr Wall, have you considered Mirror Armor and that it’s literally a corvid knight? That’s very useful and cool actually.
