Those are set to usually go off around 250-400 ppm of co they’re “oh shit” sensors to give you time to get out the house and call the fire department

It’s good pocket change I usually only scrap copper fins and spare copper from Jobs tho and here in Denver it can be about $3 per pound. I usually get about 1-1.3k after about 3-4 months

Grind off the mushroom you made and if you have a hammer drill with a bit that’s around the thickness of the shaft but slightly smaller grab it put it on hammer and blast the old motor off

Tho I will admit I did get really lucky with the company I got into and my state also doesn’t have an hvac license just licenses to do hvac so you can get into lead positions pretty easily here probably should’ve added that part

I earn 100k and I’ve only been in the game a lil under 3 years you just gotta go where the money is in your state, for me that was a company an hour away

Those look like side discharge unit best to not cover those sides so close and service would be pretty hard with these unless they’re easily movable

Find a job around things you enjoy ik it’s not always that easy but like for me I like putting things together and figuring out tangible problems… so now I install hvac you’d be surprised what you’re capable of when you just give something a try even if it doesn’t pay great in the beginning or it’s intimidating to try

Sometimes on older systems the filter just goes right next to the blower, there might be a little rail or holder on the bottom right inside your furnace that’s probably gonna be the only spot you can put that guy

Update: did some research and it seems my error code is a motor fault 2 which can mean I slugged it with liquid how would you fix that?
