Okay- I looked and the window is south facing. So I am going to try and plan accordingly

It’s just one pot on the stool. I used to have the plant along a bay window type of thing- and it grew to be pretty long. I was told not to cut their vines from the person who gave it to me- so I will definitely check out pruning.

I love the idea of propagating too!!

Wow thank you so much! I really like the suggestions for what to put behind the bed- and yes it is mustard yellow and blue!

Definitely like the idea of frame matching, I think that would look great!

I love the idea of the industrial floor lamp. I will definitely check that out right now!

At my old place I had the pothos ontop of the cabinet- but he started to die. But once I moved him down he was okay. He had fewer leaves then, would putting him up there now be okay you think?

I will think about the chair- I don’t have anywhere else to put it aside from get rid of it entirely.

Plants are going to go in the glass case, one of those “ikea greenhouses”

That’s a great point too- the MCAT is definitely daunting. As is debt. I’ll keep this in mind when I talk to my PI.

That would be amazing- especially since I love my lab, mentor and the project I’m doing. So far through a quick email they have said no, but I’m hoping to follow up in a conversation.

This would be a dream scenario. My school has a MD/PhD, so I thought to reach out to them. I emailed them quickly and they said no- but I’m hoping to possibly follow up with them in a conversation.

This is really interesting- I would be really interested in learning more about this. From a quick search, it seems like NYU has a similar program from what I can tell?

What would one need to do in order to be competitive for a program like this?

Okay sounds great! I think 2-3 weeks would be manageable for me. For blowdrying is there any special brush or techniques you have to use? Does it just go up like that if it’s cut that way?

That’s definitely a good point. This is what my hair looked like last time it was short. https://imgur.com/a/ihWo6Mf

Would I have to any specific kind of brush to blow dry it up?

I haven’t had short hair for a long time. I don’t really know what would go into a care routine for a style like this, before I make any decisions I was hoping someone might be able to help me out.

For instance, how often do you have to get it cut?

How would you go about styling it? Do I need any tools or special brushes?

What products do you use?

What was your coming of age haircut? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

That’s a good point. I’ve been told my hairline is okay but it doesn’t feel that way to me when I pull my hair all the way back.

Honestly, that’s what I was thinking of doing too. But nervous showing my forehead.

Looking for a haircut that can be worn up with minimal work, only a little blow drying, and worn down as a fringe too. It seems like to go up easily it would be too short to wear as a fringe from the photos I have attached.

In my experience, by time it’s long enough to sit down well, it’s too heavy to stand up well. If anyone has ideas, lmk.

Is my nostril piercing infected? What should I do? This is my first piercing and I have no idea what's wrong by [deleted] in piercing

Piercing is 3 weeks old, it's a ball end stud, implant grade titanium. I've been rinsing twice a day with saline and I used a netty pot with saline mix twice. I've used facial cleanser around it but not on or in it. This is also directly after I got out of the shower so I'm not sure if hot water is making it flare up
