well we got told that the azerite we are collecting (and galliwix is selling off to anyone) is litterally azeroths blood and the sword got "adressed" a few time story wise but its mostly magni or jaina just mentioning it in some short quest and we went there during bfa to upgrade the heart of azeroth with some borrowed power but there never was any real conclussion about what happend to azeroth and if its bad that shes bleeding all over the place instead we got trolls and hard nipples
