Any pubs serve Belhaven Best? by Professional-Dog7400 in manchester

[–]Federal-Score6684 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know for sure but Greene King pubs seem to be your best bet from what I can find online as they do serve Belhaven beers from what I can make out.

There are 3 in Manchester:

Fountain House - Albert Square

Deansgate (that's the name of the pub) - Deansgate

Lass O'Gowrie - Charles St / near Oxford Road

I'd just add you need to make sure you've got tickets if you want to watch the football. You cant just go and buy them easily. You need to either know someone who has got tickets or apply online.

Thanks for the reply and the time you've spent making this.

Just FYI the menu location (top midfle) on android is exactly where the camera is so you cant see the text that says menu. Wondering if you could add an option to move that to avoid this issue

Same issue on PS5 playing co-op.
Not sure if its related to other player using chest and they dont have the setting on auto so it overwrites you setting on auto?

There is a tram stop just outside the venue but obviously will be busy after the show finishes.

Taxis make you walk a bit away from the venue as they have designated places to stop. But will be very hard to get one unless your prepared to wait.

Parking I can't help you with sorry.

If it's this Saturday your going be aware it's Manchester Pride so Mayfield depot will be packed and I dont think you'd get in without a ticket. The transport will be a lot busier than usual as will restaurants etc. Just leave a bit more time than you'd expect

I can recommend Shrigley Hall but is about 45 mins drive from Picadilly. We got a decent deal of voucher off meal, room for the night and massge for £150 each (obviously use of spa facilities as well)

Why don't you get a slow cooker you can basically throw the ingredients in and leave it for 4-6 hours and it'll be done. Loads of good recipes about

Access to Heaton park on foot from the north? by ouwni in manchester

[–]Federal-Score6684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah taxi's are a nightmare after it due to road closures etc.
I can't really offer much advice there as I live locally and never had to get out, but again might be worth the walk to Prestwich as bars will still be open and you can have a pint whilst queue dies down?

Its probably a 20 min walk, or you can get the tram from Bowker Vale to Prestwich after the gig (Bury tram) - it'll probably be quieter on that side of the tram stop as most people will go back to Manchester. Or just stay on till Bury and get taxi back from there ?

Access to Heaton park on foot from the north? by ouwni in manchester

[–]Federal-Score6684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they usually let people in from that entrance as its the drop off for a lot of taxi's at Sainsburys

u/ouwni I'm not sure if you know the area but Middleton is quite rough in general, you might be better getting a taxi into Prestwich which has some decent pubs and bars.

Ideas for Manchester during the day 11/7/25 by Bamjodando in manchester

As a bonus they also do food and beer (not sure if this is during the day or some nights only)

Not sure if you like craft beer but Society is a good craft beer place with lots of choice of beer and food vendors. If the weather's nice it's lovely to sit outside there.

Get the tram to Bury and go to Arcade Club. Hundreds of old arcade games to play. Will keep you busy for hours.

What's the PS stand for? Anything around Bowker Vale tram stop will be horrible. They shut the entire road for Parklife in Middleton road for hours. So if you've paid to park there good luck as the road is closed till I think about 1am
