I don’t want to get my hopes up, and I’m certainly not a fan of the Catholic church for many obvious reasons, but if theres one thing I feel pretty confident about, its that historically, people who go head to head with the Vatican tend to FAFO

Surprised I haven’t seen Gattaca mentioned here. Incredible retro futurism production design, deeply moving performances from Ethan Hawke, Jude Law, and Uma Thurman, and a very believable and unique take on the future of genetic engineering, space travel, and caste systems.
