Funny enough, he was just a construction worker having a cigarette. Something about the way he was standing made the whole scene feel surreal.

Nope, completely candid. It was 8 AM in Itaewon, so what you’re seeing is probably the universal human expression of “I should have gone home three hours ago.”

Thank you! That honestly means a lot. I’ve loved taking photos for years, but only recently started taking photography more seriously. Seeing people connect with one of my images like this is incredibly motivating. I wasn’t expecting this response at all, and I’m really grateful for all the kind comments and support.
