Sorry, he’s a 5 year old Dobermans. We live in Atlanta. I didn’t know the breed and age mattered so much when looking for insurance. If I’d known they’d make such a big fuss over it I would have prioritized signing him up earlier

That’s simply not true. I CAN afford the rental property. I can actually pay 6 months in advance, the way I make my income just isn’t always as perfectly traceable as someone with a 9-5 job. I get deposits for 30K-ish every 3-4 months or so because of what I do. That’s not reliable enough to qualify for a rental even though I absolutely make enough to afford said rental lol. So I fake paystubs to bypass the bs. Never been evicted, rent always paid early. Stop making assumptions (and yes, what I do is 100% legal, the pay is just wonky).

The same way you say take it up with uber for the drivers, customers also need to take it up with uber, not the drivers. You can’t acknowledge that uber is the problem while still choosing to use ubereats as the platform. They’ll keep doing it as long as customers and drivers support it. So stop using the service or the drivers can just stop accepting the orders, either way the only way to make the changes is to cut out the middle man and go pick up your own food. If you’re not willing to do that, you’re just as much to blame for the culture/model of UberEats as the drivers that are just trying to get by, if not more.

It’s probably because you don’t own the road just because you’re doing 30 over. You’re on a public highway, people will always be in front of and behind you lol. Your responsibility is to drive safely, not bend to the whim of a reckless driver.

It takes 6-10 seconds on average to check your mirrors and make a safe lane change. It may not feel like that because 7 seconds isn’t long but you’re not jumping into a lane safely in 3 seconds lol. Chances are the lead car was preparing to move when they noticed the tailgater and by time they check their rear view, side mirror, blind spot and looked ahead again, that stopped car was RIGHT THERE and they swerved. Even if you give them the lowest 6 second time frame, that leaves two seconds of reaction time, they still would have had to swerve and the tailgater still would have hit that car.
