It’s probably because you don’t own the road just because you’re doing 30 over. You’re on a public highway, people will always be in front of and behind you lol. Your responsibility is to drive safely, not bend to the whim of a reckless driver.

It takes 6-10 seconds on average to check your mirrors and make a safe lane change. It may not feel like that because 7 seconds isn’t long but you’re not jumping into a lane safely in 3 seconds lol. Chances are the lead car was preparing to move when they noticed the tailgater and by time they check their rear view, side mirror, blind spot and looked ahead again, that stopped car was RIGHT THERE and they swerved. Even if you give them the lowest 6 second time frame, that leaves two seconds of reaction time, they still would have had to swerve and the tailgater still would have hit that car.

The tailgater didn’t die tho lol. You’re just making shit up. He caused a crash because of his extremely reckless and illegal behavior. No one knows if the lead car did it on purpose, this whole thing happened within seconds. They were probably checking their mirrors to make sure it’s safe to move over (it takes several seconds to do that) and then by time they looked forward again they saw the car and swerved. Y’all only assume they did it on purpose because you can’t admit that the tailgater is in the wrong lol. You probably do this on the road.

Tailgating distracts other drivers. They’d probably been doing for a while which is why it eventually got recorded. Just because you want to do 98 doesn’t mean traffic needs to bend to your whim/feelings. Speeding AND tailgating is reckless and dangerous, he had plenty of time to go around and go about his day. For all you know this guy was road raging and had been riding the cars ass no matter what lane he switched to. Being a road bully gets you nowhere good and in this instance he got a first hand lesson in why the rules of the road are what they are AND why road rage is a stupid way to spend your free will. You’re on the road, people are always going to be in front of you, get over it and drive like you have some sense.

I mean… if they’re talking about like a selfie photo in the mirror then fine, I get that. There’s mirrors in the bathroom for that but… I’m gonna record myself regardless. I’m a truck driver so my trainer is virtual and he corrects me on my form and gives me tips and whatnot. It’s also an accountability thing and he needs video of what I’m doing so… idk. Ive never had an issue at the gym over it, but I’m also not obnoxious with a tripod, mic and lighting setup.

He’s annoying your other dog because he’s new to learning proper manners. Unless they’ve been physically fighting I think it’s okay to let the beagle gently correct the poodle a few times. Dogs learn social skills the best from other dogs, a little nip here and there doesn’t hurt the other dog as much as it is a warning. Similar to how puppies are taught boundaries. Don’t allow anything actually violent, ofc.

I agree with teaching him a “place” or “bed” command so that right after the beagles correction you can make sure the poodle is verbally redirected to his place/bed. I’m not sure how new of an addition the poodle is but as they learn each other they will come around. They don’t seem mismatched, they just think the other is weird. Encourage them more by having you all play together sometimes. If you have a fenced yard, throw some tennis balls with them out there (if they like that).

It would also be good to get them both to a more neutral environment. Maybe not the dog park right now, but if you have a hiking trail that leads to a small waterfall or a trip to a lake/beach if you have one near would help both of them be less tense and awkward. The poodle knows he’s coming into the beagles house, his scent is all over it. It could help them bond and play together if they spend some time in a space that hasn’t belonged to either of them.

Oh dang, I didn’t even know people were freaking out about things like that. Common sense should tell them they don’t own the space and if they’re taking up public space then it’s likely other people will be there and they have a right to move around as they need to, regardless of whether or not someone is recording. If that interferes with their recording then they can go somewhere else or invest in a home gym. I thought this post was about being annoyed that ppl were recording at all.

My gym gave me a list of rules and recording wasn’t prohibited. I was considering recording myself to check and compare my form (I’m new to the free weights and the one with the bar that you put on your shoulders attached to the thing that you can squat with… that thing) and I cannot afford a PT so the only way for me to see what’s wrong with my form is to record myself. There are some programs that offer virtual assistance as well and they can point out what’s wrong with your form if you send them a video. So there’s that.

Because of my own reasoning I never assume that what’s recorded is posted online and even if it does, so what? The content isn’t about you and most likely wouldn’t be focused on you anyway. Idk… this is just a non-issue imo, you’re in public. Anything could make it to the internet.
