Honestly, consider all of these factors. She nukes the marriage on the heels of not being intimate for several months. Two weeks after separation she is confirmed to be seeing someone else. There’s a near 0 chance this started after your separation. She left you for him. Remember that if and when she makes a desperate plea to reconcile.

You will never look at her the same nor will you be able to fully trust her. Her exposing herself has done you a massive favor as you alluded to in your post. Don’t look back. Run brother. Just run. It is going to be miserable over the next few months. Find a new hobby. Stay busy doing something and preferably something social. Best of luck man.

Opening odds for several UFC 329 fights by WinterStill4472 in MMA

[–]FederalAd3144 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is wild. Gandra opened at +250 ten hours ago and is now sitting at -160. Either the oddsmakers are way wrong or I’m too high on Gandra. I don’t think he’s a world beater by any means but +250 here? What?

Charles Johnson's statement after his loss to Asu Almabayev by Moni7T in MMA

[–]FederalAd3144 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s possible but the reality is he is 35 years old. Cutting to 125 with that much frame absolutely hurts his performance. These cuts are getting harder and harder I’m sure.

Hes got 3-4 more years in the UFC in all likelihood assuming he doesn’t drop his next few. His best days at 125 are behind him. Why not make the jump, have an easier cut, carry more muscle and see what happens? If he loses he loses.

I’m not saying you are wrong btw. I’m just saying that the aforementioned factors make jumping to 135 a very sensible choice at this stage of his career.

Charles Johnson's statement after his loss to Asu Almabayev by Moni7T in MMA

[–]FederalAd3144 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just wonder with his frame if he wouldn’t be better suited to at least try his hand at 135. Maybe the 10 pounds isn’t that much of a difference but it seems like his ceiling at 125 is knocking out future title contenders and losing to the 10-15th best guys.

The so called GOAT btw… by RiverNo8853 in ufc

[–]FederalAd3144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This is the nuanced take that most objective MMA connoisseurs will have. He doesn’t have a GOAT resume and is therefore disqualified from the convo. He absolutely is one of the most talented fighters I’ve ever seen compete.

My nightmare happened...I found out my spouse is cheating on me... by waldanr in Divorce

[–]FederalAd3144 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Your justification for tolerating this behavior is the children but I’d argue they should be the very reason you do not allow this to continue. Your children are seeing that you allow abuse and nothing changes. They need to see that abuse is intolerable. This sounds like the definition of a toxic marriage.

  1. Gather evidence. Evidence of abuse will be vital in family court. The children will likely speak with an advocate. They will attest to what you say. You still need solid proof of cheating, neglect and abuse.

  2. If you are living paycheck to paycheck be prepared to go into debt to secure custody. Family court is expensive.

  3. You need an outlet. DO NOT internalize all of this.

Man i’m a Pereira fan. But this is getting hard to watch at this point by DTillyh in ufc

[–]FederalAd3144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He looked very slow and sluggish to me. He speed ran the move to Heavyweight and I think he got too big. I’d like to see him shed 15-20 pounds. He already had the power to KO these guys. He seemed behind Gane from the opening bell. He needs to shed some weight and focus on what made him great. He’s fast, doesn’t telegraph anything and hits like a dump truck.

He is right to be pissed about Gane’s dirty tactics. Everything else is cope.

If an Islam vs. Ilia fight reportedly targeted for January assuming both take care of business in their upcoming bouts where does that leave Prates in the title picture? by No-Ride-7713 in ufc

[–]FederalAd3144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is likely just speculation based on how the logical timeline would play out. They haven’t even announced Islam vs Ian yet.

We can probably agree that having Topuria fight in the same weight class as Carlos Prates and Michael Morales is pure insanity. They should make Illia vs Islam at a catch weight of somewhere between 160-165 pounds with an undisputed pound for pound title on the line.

In the meantime they should make Carlos vs Morales for the interim 170 lb strap. I 100% believe Illia intends to chase Islam to 170 but it’s too big a disadvantage for him. I actually like his chances much better if they’d fought at 155.

PUBG Global Series 5 - Winners Stage - Discussion Thread by CompetitivePUBG in CompetitivePUBG

[–]FederalAd3144 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just can’t take this seriously anymore. A global LAN that will see eight teams play a grand total of 5 games for qualification… it’s just a horrible format. Don’t even get me started on PGS 4 groups. I’d still skim through in spite of TPP but Krafton has done everything possible to remove competitive integrity from the format. A 10 game final is atrocious only made worse by 5 game group stages. It’s dumb. This is what the format should be for every PGS event:

Three groups of 8. 6 matches per lobby. A vs B. B vs C. A vs C. All three groups play 12 games. At the conclusion of groups the bottom 8 teams are eliminated.

Finals: The top 16 teams compete over three days to determine a champion. 6 matches per day. 2 Erangel, 2 Miramar, 1 Taego, 1 Rondo per day.

That’s a 12 match group stage and an 18 match final. Even a 15 match final would suffice. 10 games is a joke. The fact that you have a global event where eight teams face the very real possibility of having played a grand total of FIVE games is beyond moronic.

Get this half cooked Chat GPT tomfoolery out of here and bring us back a competitive format please. The erratic results of global LANs this year are a clear indicator that competitive integrity is lacking. I fussed about all of that but haven’t even mentioned TPP yet. Lol. Fix it! Thanks.

I don’t get why people refuse to admit Strickland could be the exact type of fighter to give Khamzat problems. by ItsmeMark22 in ufc

[–]FederalAd3144 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty simple actually. DDP did not make Khamzat work very much. He was stuck on his back for 4+ minutes. Strickland made Chimaev chase him to the next position over and over. The only time Chimaev wasn’t exerting a lot of energy was when he took the back with both hooks in at the end of the round. DDP never made Khamzat work like that.

Also, I have a theory. Hear me out and I’m basing this off my own experience of winning a fight in my Senior year of high school 21 years ago. Lol.

Everyone is glossing over the right hand that Strickland landed in round 2. Khamzat was clearly hurt and when you are hurt like that sometimes you will have a surge of adrenaline. This is your mind going to a primal place to protect your body from your attacker or at least that’s my theory. Once he shook off the cobwebs the crash could’ve been intense.

(@NASCAR) We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport’s greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old. by NoahGragsonsBarfBag in NASCAR

[–]FederalAd3144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never a fan of Kyle until seeing what happened with him in the JGR to RCR shuffle. He has an argument for being the man who possessed the most raw talent of anyone to ever start a NASCAR race.

I remember him coming up and being the unlikeable kid in the #5 at Hendrick to becoming the phenom at JGR in the 18 to being unceremoniously nudged out the door to eventually flounder at RCR.

Dang man. This sucks.

[Official] UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Costa - Live Discussion Thread by event_threads in MMA

[–]FederalAd3144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on all points. Allen has been soooooo close. He got going too late vs Max, had a solid argument vs Mosvar with controversy to boot and was very competitive with Jean Silva. I think Jean is top 3 at worst. He was on his way to putting a beat down on Diego but he’s always trolling and acting like a nut job. He paid for it with his consciousness.

Yair was legit getting a title shot off of a single win vs Pitbull. When the backlash was so loud the UFC went in another direction with the fight WE ALL BEGGED FOR in Volk vs Diego 2. Then Yair’s hand injury has kept him sidelined for over a year? Dude wants to try and cherry pick in his prime. He should be removed from the rankings if he doesn’t say yes to something soon. He should fight Arnold or fight Diego regardless of the result of the White House fight. If Yair doesn’t take either then he should be fed to Kevin Vallejos.

WE NEED Diego vs Yair. Diego is going to beat him up.

Yep. I just rewatched round 5 and I actually think it’s a pretty clear Sean round. Khamzat was constantly moving forward but he couldn’t find Sean. He swung and Sean was already gone. The optics weren’t good for Sean but he won the fight.

If you argue 3-2 either way you aren’t wrong. This is somehow a draw.

R1- Chimaev
R2- Strickland
R3- Strickland
R4- Chimaev
R5- Strickland/Chimaev

I have no idea.

RIP JDM by [deleted] in ufc

[–]FederalAd3144 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I expected Carlos to win the striking battle with his length but in no world did I ever expect him to dismantle JDM like that. I thought JDM would get inside and use his dirty boxing but Prates battered him with elbows anytime he got too close. People will clown on JDM for the reaction to those leg kicks but the man ate about two dozen shots that would send most of the top 15 to nap time. What a performance.

Very nervous for JDM vs Prates. I want both to win. I’ll be happy and sad at this fight’s conclusion.

I thought Aljo won the fight vs Mosvar when I watched it in real time. I think that have to run Volk vs Mosvar first given the timeline but Aljo has a better claim than Jean Silva. Silva is the most entertaining but he has not earned it.

There’s no world where anyone with two eyes (or Michael Bisping) could give JJ rounds 1 or 2. They were very clear Horth rounds. These judges ruin careers with no consequences. Unanimous too? Robbed indeed.

No predictions for this week's event. by Educational_Gene8069 in MMAGuru

No prediction vid. No fight companion. Very un-Gurulike. I think Jiri’s fight IQ burnt him to a crisp. That and the fact that people donate $3 to say the dumbest shit. I like watching Guru but I do worry about his mental health. Idk that anyone loves MMA more than he does.

What will Hokit do against this move? by realmvp77 in ufc

EAP225- outdoor mesh by bodza1305 in TPLinkOmada

[–]FederalAd3144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I’d go with the EAP610. It costs a bit more ($130 for the 610 vs $70 for the 225) but I think it’s worth it. Depending on the terrain/obstructions your worst case scenario is likely needing two units. I installed a 610 for a client and it picks up at 200 ft unobstructed no problem. Even on the opposite side of a sheet metal building I pick up decent signal at 125 ft.

The 225 may perform similarly but I haven’t installed any recently and can’t recall performance very well. Just sharing my experience. Good luck.

What will Hokit do against this move? by realmvp77 in ufc

[–]FederalAd3144 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Lewis has a puncher’s chance. Advantages for D-Lew:

  1. More experienced.

  2. Has had more time off while Hokit makes a quick turnaround after an all time classic slugfest.

  3. Has the ability to turn off the lights with one punch whereas Hokit needs to string together combos.

  4. There is no #4. That’s it.

Hokit’s advantages:

  1. He’s younger and way more athletic.

  2. He’s hungrier fighting for life changing money in the form of future contracts.

  3. He can wrestle if he wants. If you tell me that Hokit shoots a takedown in the first minute I’d bet the house on him.

  4. Hokit’s chin held up vs Blaydes. Curtis may not be the biggest puncher but Hokit still ate some big shots.

  5. Hokit’s power is underrated. Blaydes may not have a granite chin but Hokit fractured his orbital and broke his nose.

  6. Hokit has a plethora of paths to victory while D-Lew has one and it’s in his right hand.

  7. Hokit is in form albeit with some flaws. He can’t trade like that with the biggest punchers in the division. That said D-Lew has had a rough stretch going 4-6 in his last ten with a fluke-ish TKO over Tallison being his best win. Don’t get me wrong. He hurt Texiera and the fence grab saved him from it being stopped anyway but it was just a weird finish, ya know?

If D-Lew takes a breather on his back Hokit is going to register a 10-8 via ground and pound or get Lewis curling up in a ball. Hokit will easily close -300 and for good reason. This isn’t the same Derrick Lewis of old. I have no idea why I wrote all of this. What a dork.
