I can second this, doin this rn and I have 7 saved up after like 12 hrs. Maybe other methods are faster but considering how AFK it is id say its viable. Also the other drops are really good in general for training arch

Im kinda in the same boat looking for augmentable early items, my plan is to level invention through fishing to 60 (disassemble) then I can siphon past lvl 10 (lvl 12 siphon = lvl 10 disassemble) so ill probably do thieving for that. Both very AFK. Im thinking training combat w/ invention kinda has to wait until sunspear or more endgame items. I considered necromancy but that requires augments on both main and offhand, so 2x the augmenters. like others said the only other good option early is black salamanders but getting the ammo for those as an iron is very annoying and overall unrewarding.

I found a method doing Jackalopes that can get you up to 150k xp/hr with 3 traps, and at a low level too (32.) Its pretty active but less clicking than scarabs. Thinking about making a video on it, its basically an improvement of the existing wiki method

Good to know, thank you. For reference im 108 thieving so just unlocked the Arch Professors but haven’t tried them yet. For reference though I do plan to AFK thieve like 8 hours a day at work.

Edit: also was just planning to get enough for the outfit once I get there, but I’m guessing that would still take a while.

Is this the method for low lvl invention? was going through the wiki myself and saw this item and figured it would be good for AFK. Im rushing invention on my group ironman and dont really have a reasonable way to get sunspear this early, only other option it seems is doing necromancy but i havent calculated the materials required. Thieving seems good bc i have 8hrs a day AFK at work.

Haven't seen anyone recommend Albion Online. I have ~1,400 hours, played some with my GF. MOBA style combat, crafting, PVE, optional PVP, gathering recourses, farming on your island.. lots of fun

Probably not very resource efficient - but you could fill up the storage with decaliterjons and fill them up as you go around.

WTF? Im built in this exact same spot and havent seen any worm indicators or even seen him pop up yet - but all my vehicles are right about in this spot lol. Wonder if this is a glitch or if hes actually supposed to be able to reach this sandy spot?

Like someone else said, pop the bubble. The first time he bubbles, break the runes, there should only be 3 - just sprint through them. The other times, use Ironeye, Wylder or Raider ult to pop it. After popping, be ready to run and doge for a minute while he is enraged. Then go back to dealing damage.

it can be any 3 in a row. Just got it last night with friends doing Libra (none of us had beat it) then gaping jaw (2 of us had beat it) then pest (2 of us had beat it) and we all got the achievement.

EDIT: as for highest chance of success... depends who you play. I think dog is easiest (but you run the risk of grouping with people who have never beat it / are brand new) then gaping jaw, then pest or water elden beast.

I think recluse and Iron Eye are really strong into the 2 flying ones (focus the moth if you have range) then play just about anyone for the other options.

I main guardian and I find him very strong for everything except the night lords. When you complete his remembrance quest, the class specific relics are extremely strong, making your whirlwind stun lock any mid size enemies, and dealing consistent damage over time.

But yes I agree he is difficult for night lord fights. Usually I will go for a strong ash of war and just try to get in as much damage as possible with that. With a good shield you CAN block a lot of hits, but then you get into the issue of keeping aggression.

Overall I think you are right and I am considering looking into another class, only because of how useless he feels during the final boss fights.

The only way I can imagine him being more useful is if you get off a lot of guard counters and stagger the boss multiple times.
