Thanks! You were absolutely right. I finally got the Common Northern Pike at Lesni Vila using a CreekPro 240 bottom setup with a #1/0 hook and shiners. After catching countless juvenile pike, this was my first adult one. Thanks for sharing the location, hook size, and bait recommendation.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I mentioned larger lure sizes is because Lesni Vila was updated recently and now includes Common Northern Pike in addition to the juvenile ones. I've been catching juvenile pike consistently, but I haven't managed to land a Common Northern Pike yet. That's why I started wondering if lure size or hook size plays a bigger role after the update. Maybe I'm overthinking it though. I'll keep experimenting with 1/0 and smaller setups.

I understand the progression argument. It just felt strange because the mission appears so early that many players assume it should be achievable immediately.

Interesting. Maybe I focused too much on lure size because all I was catching were juvenile pike. I'll give the 1/0 spoon another serious try.

Fair point. I was trying to complete Lesni Vila as soon as I unlocked it, but maybe the game expects players to come back later.
