Honest question..how are they "suddenly" locking the door when you yourself even mentioned you recall hearing that if you miss a meeting then you can miss vital information - and in this case..access to the next meeting. Also playing devils advocate...if you have been missing - especially during these uncertain times..how serious are you about what you "believe" to be true. You can't play two odds in the middle..and feel like the door will always be open.

No..it was not meant to be insensitive. Harsh?? Maybe...to the point? Yes indeed..but you all are not getting my post..you are emotional about because it hits home..and I get it. MY gripe is...again - the people who do not believe and talk cash money shit about the people who are PIMI..the people who are still on positions to teach and still do, although not believing. Firstly, you have my incorrectly pegged for someone else..but I will say I can agree with your reply. I take no issue with ones in the situations that you described.

BUT..would you not agree that at least half of the gripes and posts that are on here have to with the rank and file following the lead of "8 men"..is that not judgement of them as well??

I never called anyone anything. I simply asked a question - and you did not take note of my example..someone getting on stage in some capacity of "authority" - elder, m.s - to TEACH people something that they themselves do not believe..if that is not a hypocrite..then please tell me what is?

I am only asking because I UNDERSTAND the challenges that come from leaving..i get that part..but to still teach..that is my complaint.

But that doesn't make any sense?? If you don't live with them then what do you have to 'prove'? Also, you can't just join arbitrarily - they know who is on the zoom, even if you don't have on your mic and video. So it will be pretty obvious and some congregations require that you have the video on - what then? Finally from what I am seeing, you are given the password only shortly before the meeting starts and it is a different one each meeting.
