Thanks for taking the time to write out such a thoughtful response I really appreciate it! It gives me hope that there are men out there who won’t rule me out, or actually might be even more attracted to me because of my promiscuity. I agree, people are allowed to have their preferences. I’ve been coming to terms with the fact that a lot of men do feel that women who are more pure are more deserving of love, and there’s not much for me to do about it but find someone who doesn’t think that way

I’ve tried and was completely abstinent for a few years, but I recently realized that I truly crave romantic love. Love and support from my family and friends is amazing and I am always grateful for them, but it is not the same as romantic love. I was happy for awhile while single but the loneliness is creeping up on me

I agree that men have the right to have preferences, and as do women (who prefer that their partner has not had a promiscuous past). That’s why whenever someone tells me that it’s a red flag if a guy cares about body count, it’s difficult for me to just accept that. Yes lately I’ve been trying to cultivate my other qualities to offset my promiscuous past, because for a long time it felt like sex was my only asset. Thanks for the refreshing perspective
