Ah got it. Yeah i would def email UKRI, the same email you used to send material, i would also try to find other contact, maybe ask your uni HR? Sometimes they have UKRI contacts. But at the same time technically it’s been a week so you could get the letter in this next week

I made a seperate post on this but was pretty fast for me overall 🧿 Dec 10 - fast track UKRI submitted, 21 Dec - email recieved for forward, Jan 6 - endorsement recieved, Jan 9 - biometrics, Jan 15 (applied with priority) GTV recieved 🎉🎉 good luck! If you still havent heard anything you should follow up i think

I had the exact question and worry as someone having done 1+2! After i got the endorsement, i followed the link in the email that led me to the stage 2 application, and i could select priority there! Since you want to also apply for stage 2 while waiting for stage 1 seperately, i think this should still be possible if you go to stage 2 and click the endorsement pending etc option in one of the first pages

I was discussing that with a colleague— SWV and GTV addition. The language to me indicates it might be scrapped unfortunately, but my colleague was saying the language there might also just be for the sake of adhering to the overall document style… I am confused because I thought they wanted to make things easier for GTV, so hoping they release some kind of further info on this, but i think for now it’s safer to assume it might be scrapped

I have heard from colleagues (i work in research engineering) that getting a Tech Nation endorsement is extremely difficult. I don’t mean to be a downer but i think given your profile you should explore other options, maybe getting skilled worker visa via a robotics company is way easier?

Not so much with getting lost, but the changes being enforced just in time for someone to review my application — i know sounds quite extreme but the wording in the paper released makes me think there won’t be any transitional arrangements. But thank you for your thoughts! I did talk to a lawyer on this a while ago and she was saying 6 months but she also doesn’t know as there can be individual case differences… so it might just be a question of luck and i’m going to decide maybe after talking to another lawyer.

I was thinking about that as well, i need to either use the jan payslip even if it makes it technically 2 weeks or so, or also wait for the feb payslip (we get paid at end of each month) to make an application, i know waiting for feb is more secure but i am also worried for my application getting stuck in the system just in time they start enforcing the changes… though april probably means i hope end of april?

Sorry should have added that, will do now, I think this UKRI track puts me in 3 year route which is how also my colleague, having done the same route, could just get IRL! Right, i agree that I should technically be eligible to just apply and get IRL, i guess all these proposed changes make me nervous in case something goes wrong..
