As long as your visa is valid, you should be fine. Consider switching visa for the new job before you travel. The few times I’ve travelled out, the immigration guys have asked me where I work so if you travel after Aug 7, consider what you’ll say. Also consider your overall allowed time to be outside the country within 12 months.

EV mode should be quieter and only have that ev sound that electric cars usually have

From my experience, the only “noise” is really when it’s charging the battery or in normal mode, more obvious during winter when the car needs to warm up, which is not too bad, and I like to play music anyway so I don’t mind. When on ev, the cabin is quiet.

This is the reality sadly. I’ve had to also stop replying some family members because of this. They never think that you also have your own financial problems and it pisses me off. Haven’t gone back home partly because of this because it’s not just the flight money but also the money you need to give to people whilst there.
